Might as well get this up, given it’s only days away.

 

Kind of a must win game, what with Villa on the horizon after this one (shudder).

 

That will make the team selection for this one fascinating - who do you go with?

Good chance we see club legend Danny Ward play in this

                      Ayew

 

Only reason I want Skipp and Winks to play in this is because I want us to quickly get that partnership working together (yes I know they were at Spurs together but they never really played together that much and it has been a few years now)

I'd like that even if we ended up losing. Gives a few a good chance of advertising themselves.

 

Couldn't really care about the cups this season, need all focus on avoiding relegation.

It would be nice to see the guys that aren’t going to play in the prem get some game time against Tranmere. Up and coming lads that can’t usually expect to start considering the sheer quality ahead of them in their respective positions. Of those, there’s a lad called Ricardo Pereira and another one called Stephy Mavididi that are worth checking out. Hopefully Cooper will start them or maybe give them 10 minutes when the game is done/gone.

I think our season would benefit much more from a dominant win and good performance here.

 

I’m not saying go full strength - but we could do with being able to showcase some attacking play.

have a feeling it won’t happen though because if pereira, mavididi and cannon have really good games and we smash them, cooper will be under more pressure to play them.

Wouldnt be surprised to see 11 changes.

 

Much could depend on who leaves/about to leave in the window. 

 

I think he will go something like....

Richards.

 

(Ayew may be left out as  I think he will be rotated with Vardy against Villa)

If Alves and Nelson don't start this and it's not because there's a loan move lined up for them then serious questions need to be asked.

There is no reason not to play them both.

Perfect opportunity for them both to step up.
