Agreed !

Buying player from Celtic based on his stats has disaster written all over it. Edouard has done very little since arriving in the EPL.

Funny how things turn out, loads on FT were screaming for us to sign him when he was at Celtic and the same people gutted when he went to Palace . At least we can give him back

Not written him off just yet. We need him, Daka and Ayew to support Vardy with 10-15 goals between them.

We will probably never know why we sent Tom Cannon out on loan & brought in Odsonne Edouard as a replacement. It looks like TC pissed in somebodies cornflakes.

It makes sense. Cannon is young and ours so getting him out to get regular minutes made sense. Whether it was the best choice of loans is a different point.

But you still need cover so makes sense also to do that by bringing someone in on loan. Eduoard was never first choice, just cover.

i guess it was probably imagined that he may offer more than Cannon this season though which is questionable.

at cannons age, regular first team football is crucial. he's not getting that with Vardy here, might as well get him out on loan and bring in an old body for the 30 minutes of the season  he's actually needed for.

Cooper has shown that he values PL experience very highly. That's why he was never going to go into a new season with 37yr old Vardy and Cannon. TBH Odsonne looked good on paper, but just has shown zero motivation here. Best thing for both parties is for him to leave.

A bit surprised that Palace have loaned him out.

If you read their forum 90% seem to think that he’s a bit sh1t and lazy. So not that surprising really

His stats show about 5-7 goals a season recently. Not good numbers. If his wages were high then makes sense.

Is he any worse than their other forwards/strikers this season currently?

Free up a loan space.

What a terrible option to get him in on loan.

Pure definition of panic buy.

We had one fit forward and probably not many options.

 Needs must.

Cancel his loan and immediately get Lindelof on loan?

The guy who went off injured against Spurs at half time and hasn't been in the squad since?  The guy that spent half the season out injured last season?

Could be great. Could be an absolute waste of a loan spot.
