Who is Jack Rafferty?

I've heard him on the When you're smiling podcast. Not quite John Percy which is my only hope it's not true

He's a BBC Radio Leicester reporter. It's based directly on the manager's comments at the press conference.

why are some of our fans over reacting on socials for?

he said hes fully behind Ward, yet he hasnt been seen since the Wolves game, hes not played OE for ages, hes not been on the bench either,

if that doesnt add to him going then id be surprised if hes here come Feb 1st

There's no chance he's going "Yeah, we don't rate him and we'll be sending him back" if nothing has been formally agreed.

It's a stock answer.

Nail on the head. If they explore an opportunity for someone else on loan he’ll go.

What did Leicester expect when your rummaging round the garbage bins of Palace, Fulham and Wolves for fish bones

I'd take Cunha and Ait-Nouri from Wolves...

I also wouldn't include Fulham, three points off 5th, in the same sentence as Wolves and Palace.

spot on for me, its pretty clear he's going back, as you said he knows there would be a back lash if he said what you wrote

from the fact hes only been in 1 matchday squad since RVN got here, even then didnt come on

To throw a little bit of context in, he’s been injured as well.

You can’t just send him back. There’s no clause. This is all dependent on his agent finding him a club somewhere to take on the loan deal.

Manager is just being a decent bloke and not throwing him under a bus

So Ruvanis is keeping him! The striker equivalent of Dangerous Danny!

Probably gives us an idea of the standard of players we are getting this January. 😕

In terms of their squads though, they're all on a similar level. One or two injuries and Fulham's back ups aren't that great.

If this is correct then i have already lost abit of faith in Ruud.

Given Ruud hasn't even put him on the bench yet I would imagine it's all out of his hands.

We might not have the option to send him back.

I suspect you're right there.

This thread keeps getting bumped up and then I open it with a sense of crushing disappointment when I realise that it’s not because he’s buggered off back to Crystal Palace

true, i doubt he'd have played/selected anyway

Big question is why did we sign him in the first place. He was absolutely useless at Palace. Has to be Cooper, what a plonker !
