Fair play to the commentator for our game on match of the day for calling out the foul on Vardy for their first and the red card that should have been for Calafiori.

To be fair, after the offside at Palace, if we had scored that final goal that Arsenal did yesterday, I actually think VAR would have found a way to uphold the decision and not allow it…(yes it was correct to allow it as Justin got the touch but point stands)

Cooper does seem to blame the ref alot, he does this thing talking about what they did wrong and how it cost us then goes on to say but I don't wanna say too much or make it about the ref. (Well, you just have..)

I've seen a few comments by people moaning about this, about him playing the victim card or 'turning us into Forest'.....Our fans do the exact same thing and have done for years, rather blaming the ref than looking at ourselves first.

I'd like to think integrity is in play but the cynic in me does say we're gonna be on the end of many dodgy decisions and we have already.

Championship officiating is better.

tbf he trying to deflect from the awful performance yesterday, come on nearly 40 attempts arsenal had, we got pumped in every respect and 2 decisions wouldnt have changed that

im not surprised we are getting dodgy decisions go against us after the PSR stuff tho

and championship officials.......well go and have a look at the norwich first goal.....the standard of officials in this country as a whole is frankly shocking and id say its the lowest its ever been

Calafiori should have walked but so should've Skipp.

I think the thought is that if calafiori walks then we shouldn’t be under as much pressure as we were thereafter and skipp doesn’t have to make that challenge ?

Watching it back on MOTD it’s even more criminal Calafiori hasn’t been sent off. Embarrassing.

Look at the fans reactions in the background and even they know it.

Madness right? Even the Arsenal players knew it, and they could’ve had no complaints.

Always going to be tough at Arsenal and you need some luck go your way .

Plenty of luck went our way yesterday for us to even still be in the game. We then required every decision and outcome to be perfect and it never is.

It's a different kind of luck though. We were lucky that Hermandsen was so good and Arsenal were wasteful but it's not unlucky that the ref didn't do his job properly. It's incompetence

Agreed. Skipp should have gone as well though so I can't ignore thr likelihood we'd have had precious little advantage for very long anyway.

I think most of us can take it on the chin if beaten fair and square without dubious ref decisions but there is a pattern developing that is worrying

I wouldn’t take anything from an away game at a big six club as being indicative of anything

you simply don’t generally get the rub of the green at these grounds - always been the same and always will be

What were the timings between the potential yellows for Calafiori's 2nd and Skipp's 2nd?

Dare I say it felt like we were on top when Calafiori made his foul on Facundo and could have capitalised (ha!). Skipp But these kinds of things go on to have big ramifications later down the line.

We're only in Sept and we've already been on the end of two bad decisions/howlers. I can't recall having anything that big go in our favour so far...

Bit like Brit boxers back in the day fighting in US. Had to win by a knockout as no chance of a points win

Poor refereeing is 'destroying the Premier League' say Nottingham Forest.

Percy doing a report that Nottingham Forest hierarchy fear VAR is "failing the fans".

Why did they, along with Leicester and every other team in the league (Bar Wolves) vote in favour of keeping it then.

I must be the only one that can see Vardy has thrown himself back to make it look like he's been pulled. He's clearly felt contact from the defender and then exaggerated a pull back.

Literally the easiest way to tell if someone is faking is if they through their arms in the air, if you get pulled off balance your arms naturally go down to break your fall, they don't go flying in the air unless you're trying to fake a foul lol

Oooft, how soft was that first yellow for Califiori and then the ref doesn't give the blatent yellow later in the game. Awful, can't even be consistent in the same game.

Nothing will ever change, haven't we been talking about poor reffing in this country for about a decade now?

It's quite clearly so biased towards the big 6, I'd go as far as to even say it's corrupt, maybe one day it'll come out.

As you get older you realise there are more important things to worry about in life, I didn't even watch the game yesterday, what's the point? 95% of times we go to these grounds and get blatant decisions go against us, it's the same every time. Every so often your team has the game of their life and the ref doesn't have the opportunity to screw you over, but that is once every few years.

I need to try and verify this but I think somewhere around the 80th min, so we'd have been about 10 mins with an advantage.
