We've had some exceptional talents coming through the academy, Barnes was the last one who got you off your seat but I think Monga has the ability to provide the buzz not seen since Joachim and Heskey when they were 17/18. Just pure, unaffected raw talent and not impacted by fear.

Seeing the amount of young player man city have signed today makes me think what a great  job we did hanging onto monga. Literally signed top talents from Liverpool, spurs and a another I cant remember

That’s why the next manager appointment is crucial. Would much rather stick than go with someone like Sean D.

I was talking about managers giving players such as monga minutes. RVP has been playing him the prem. You seem to have missed that point

One of the few positives of relegation is it likely improved our chances of keeping this guy. His prospects of playing time went through the roof, and so did the likelihood of him staying. 

 

Other positives include that it will have hurt our moronic board, who deserve it.

Serious serious talent, but as a fanbase lets not pressure the lad too much, he's obviously got the tools to become a really great player and his upside potential is big, but I'm seeing fans everywhere talking about how he's going to be our first 100m player, he's going to be worth £80m, going to be one of the best in the world, let's just relax a bit and not pressure him like that. We've seen this time and time and time again with young talents that burst onto the scene and end up nowhere. 

Plenty of players have been pressured by the media and by fans to the point it destroys their confidence having to live up to ridiculous standards, or even worse the players start to believe the hype themselves and develop an ego, i'm not suggesting that is the case with Monga, but lets not risk it, he's 16 and could have a big future ahead of him, let him go under the radar and improve without throwing hundreds of millions in fees around. The same goes for the other young players, we all want them to grow and build a legacy with us, but we need to be realistic over the number of minutes they should get this season and not pressure them all as being the saviours of the club.

Probably the one reason I’ll get my lad the shirt again this upcoming season to have Monga on the back. Completely had enough of everything else
