There needs to be a chant about monga and everyone doing the conga and then we all conga around the KP and then Monga scores and the players replicate what they've seen in the stand, all conga-ing around the pitch; aside from one person (Ayew) who has to stay in their half to prevent them from kicking off whilst we're conga-ing and scoring the most Cov goal ever. Afterwards, players and fans alike can conga all the way to the High Cross wetherspoons and Monga can get them in (I don't expect he's on a fortune just yet, so we'll leave Fat Cats and The Terrace to the established pros). I just can't be bothered to write the rest of it. And I'm not going to the Cov game. I can however contribute the following rhymes:

- Wonga

- Longer

- Stronger

- Wronger

- Belonger

Just need players that rhyme with Agadoo, Locomotion and Macarena now; since I have plans for those too. I won't give them away yet though.

Better hope they don't ask for ID then 😂

at what age can we get him to sign a professional contract where we can demand what we want for him?

On his 17th birthday next July. We are told this has already been agreed and will kick in on his birthday.

Just do Daft Punk "Harder, Better, Faster, Monga".

When Mavididi is honking 9 times out of 10 I'd just put faith in Monga and start him.

I'd have Monga ahead of Mavididi who turns up once every 5 games if that.

The lad is special.

He feels a bit of an outsider in the squad though, he was round clapping the fans on his own at the end and I've noticed it a couple of times in other games. Hoping it's just cause he's so chilled.

What continues to impress me about Monga is his strength.

He’s going to be quality when adds that end product to his game isn’t he?

He has 1 goal 1 assist in 172 minutes this season. You cant really ask for better end product than he has already produced, he just hasnt played many minutes for us.

Don’t get me wrong, I love Monga but he still lacks that killer instinct with his final ball/shot etc.

It’s a compliment that I am so confident that he will add that to his game.

I’m with you, yes he’s showing potential but not sure the over the top cooing of him is fully warranted yet & again in case it’s lost I think he’s going to be a good player.

If we look at someone like Philogene, there has been quite a lot of he’s overrated on here before but taking his hatrick the other night it’s not just the 3 goals it’s how well he took them, how he made the room to get in a position to take them and how fast and direct he was, making all 3 himself & if Monga can show that the cooing will be warranted.

ps I repeat for a 3rd and final time Monga is a good player

That was one of Philogene's few good matches for Ipswich since he signed. Overall he has been absolute dross for them. He had an absolute nightmare against Derby the game before whereas Monga is yet to have a bad game for us.

You cant just focus on the one game where Philogene scored a hattrick when comparing players, you have to look at all the games and the consistency of the players and on average Monga has been better than Philogene this season. If they were both the finished product I would have no reservations in picking Monga as the better player.

He's 16 and barley had many minutes this season, yet he continues to impress. His end product can get better and will, but it's already very good. Created plenty of chances so far. Decision making is normally the key tell of a special young player and his is already fantastic.

He'll be a bit inconsistent at his age but he's already better than just a good player. He impresses basically every time he's on the pitch.

I really want Stephy to find form again, because we know how good he can be - but on merit Jeremy has to start at the moment.

I know that you didn’t reply to my post and both mine and the original post both stated that he is clearly a very talented lad.

What should be said out loud as that he’s far from the finished article right now and it would be foolish to expect him to start week in, week out.

He glides past players currently but there will be a time when he does it and it results in truly opening up the opposition.

its so frustrating how little we feed our wingers, both him and Abdul should be getting the ballas much as possible, also it seemed only Abdul wanted to actually pass to him which is an issue

I thought today was a marked improvement at getting the ball to them more, probably due to James off the ball running but still not helped by Ayew waddling about 30 yards behind play and not creating any space for them to drive at the defence.
