Next season he’s gonna be even better, I still think he’ll be with us as long as we don’t get relegated

Let’s hope so

There are rumours he's signed for Man City already, no way of verifying it but my gut feeling is it's true.

People were saying the exact same thing before he signed his scholarship deal with us in the summer tbf

I think the Man City rumours were before he signed for us. I think realistcally if is the player we think he is. Best we can hope for is getting money for him.

Definitely a fresh rumour, I've also heard the same.

Would possibly explain the fact that Marti has used him very sparingly compared to the start of the season.

Another explanation could be that he has done very little to warrant more starts.

If he’d signed for Man City already he wouldn’t be playing for us at all. It would make literally zero sense to have an agreement with another club to protect a player from injury and then bring him on for 15-20min cameos when there’s no benefit in doing so because game is already lost and yet would still risk him getting injured.

Philogene was rubbish against us as he is most weeks.

Scores a banger every 5 games off the bench then does nothing for the other 4 games, if that's what we need then we should have kept Demarai Gray.

Much rather have Monga.

Along with a manager that had actual tactics for a winger and full back to do in a match.

Step overs are great but maybe Marti and his team will learn about a new thing in football called passing the ball into space for the winger to run into, the advanced technique is to carry on running forwards with the ball.

Let Monga go and grab someone in the mould of Palmer or Morgan Rodgers that they deemed not good enough for them and were onto a winner. Were gonna lose Monga anyway at sometime in the future. If we can get another potential star player in then win win.

If it is Man City, I'd see if they were willing to let Reigan Heskey fly the nest, will obviously have some sort of buy back clause as that's how they operate. But he fits the mould of what you're saying and directly replaces Monga.

Im not totally convinced he'll be as good as some predict. Obviously very early days and he's supremely talented, but does he have the raw pace a winger needs in the modern game? I certainly think going to a big club academy would be a backwards step at this point. His best selling point is the first team exposure

I presume that the future for him isn't on the wing. He sees himself as a 10, but he too young to play there right now.

The whole Man City thing bothers me. If there is a club that is going to coach the best we see out of him, its going to be Man City.

I tend to agree with u there, I know he’s still young and unproven ( yes I believe he’s got some talent ) however where better than the championship to polish your skills and adapt to proper man football with proper challenges. Do your apprenticeship in this league and if / when u improve not only will u get the bigger teams knocking on your door but you will of earned it

Maybe so, but HE WON’T GET A GAME

We'll get the Man City Michael Golding and we'll be grateful for it, thank you very much.

Knowing how we operate, most probably.

He's statistically one of the best dribblers in the championship already.

QPR fans are raving about him after his brief cameo against them, some saying that he is one of the best players they've see at this level.

It's only our fans that are strangely negative about him but if he were playing for another championship side we would be saying Monga would be a dream transfer for us. It's this strange effect of the grass always looking greener on the other side of the fence that stops our fans from appreciating what we have.

He’s certainly a talent, can’t really tell atm where his ceiling is. One thing for sure, is if I was him I would get as far away as this sinking ship as possible under this ownership

I’m sure he has learned a lot from being around the skill and vision of Mav, the finesse and team first attitude of Ayew and utilising the tactics from Marti and his team.

I agree although it's hard to say for sure due to just how young he is.

Does he show potential of a good player....yes...

Has there actually been a time where anyone's watched him and thought he's had a great game? probably not.

When you look past a few fancy tricks, he's not really done anything at all to merit regular game time. But, again, he's that young, his faults are to be expected.

Hope he lives up to his potential, wherever that may be.
