The Greatest Players (In England Or Abroad) Who Never Won A Trophy

Harry Kane obviously has a chance to join this rather unwanted gong if Bayern struggle again this season and England have another year or so of 'hurt', but who else has been a great footballer without ever winning a trophy.

I did the same Google and was very surprised by Collymore and Allen. Thought they would both have a League Cup or something kicking about

Very probably at the moment. I'd also eat my proverbial hat if an injury-free Kane didn't win a trophy before he retires, especially now he's at Bayern. There's no way he retires and stays on the trophyless list.

Jordan Pickford, arguably England's best keeper for quite a while will never have to shell out for trophy or medal polish for club or country.

Bayern will probably win the lot in Germany this season. Last season was a freak occurance, they have a better squad than anyone else (although interesting manager choice).

Collymore was a bit unfortunate. Lost an FA Cup final with Liverpool (Spice Boys era) then left Villa in a year they reached the final to join us who were in the League Cup final but wasn't eligible.
