God help me, I'm actually gonna have to give Ward the MoTM...

Fatawu and Facundo weren't great, trying to do it all themselves, Eduoard i forgot was playing repeatedly so that should tell you how bad he was and the Soumare, Thomas, Coady, Choudhury combo is the sort of thing that is banned under the geneva convention as cruel and unusual punishment.

Facundo tried, but couldn't do it alone

Abdul probably tried too hard first half and then lacked the end product 2nd half.

Okoli was steady

Ward did his job well tonight

Thomas soumare choudhury bdcr shite

Coadys poor

Ricardo's been killed by Cooper

Did eduoard play?

BDCR has done absolutely nothing tonight, yet he still has a higher rating than Thomas against Blackburn and then Forest in the 22/23 season.

how has Ward not got a 10, what else could he do?

Not have done his best to get us relegated - he'll lose at least four points out of spite from me every time.

Ward did what was asked of him, then dived the same way for every penalty to get us through. He was MotM by miles though, as no one on here could argue that Walsall didn’t deserve to go through in 90 minutes.

Walsall played well.

Some of our players and our coach need to have a word this morning and decide what on earth that was though.

I thought Ricky was okay and him and Okoli were the only ones who played anything like professional footballers with Fatawu being our only real threat in the last 35 minutes or so.

The rest were crap and I'd seriously consider having the following anywhere near the squad - Thomas, Soumare, BCDR.

Buonanotte tried but was poor.

Disappointing, boring, mundane, lethargic and worrying.

Most of these players are currently 'squad players' fighting to start in our first team or at least be part of the first team match day squad. Cup games are renowned for being abit downbeat but blimey last night took it to another level!

I never want to see a midfield double of Choudhury and Soumare again, horrendous.

Strange hatred of Soumare on here. Can't see how he was any worse than any other player on the pitch yesterday.

It's a low bar, granted, but he was tidier on the ball than Bounanotte who everyone has scored higher. Progressed better with the ball than Hamza, who everyone scored higher.

To have him in the 3's along with BDCR and Edouard is ridiculous.

Soumare is utter tripe mate. Not sure who you think you're kidding.

Where did I say he wasn't?

What I did say, was that he was far from the worst player on the pitch on Tuesday, and better than a few players who still scored higher than him.

I don't think it's hatred for Soumare it's just his back catalogue of moping about and some of his errant passing on Tuesday night was abysmal.

Annoyingly there does look to be a player in there but his attitude and application are way off

In contract Bounanotte was crap as well but you can see the lads really trying and was just having one of those nights where he was well off of it

Hamza was Hamza and incredibly limited with the ball
