JimJams Posted 4 December 2024 Posted 4 December 2024 Too good to be true. His wage will have gone up massively won't it? Would be funny getting him n KDH back.
pmcla26 Posted 4 December 2024 Posted 4 December 2024 If he's available we have to try to bring him home. What do they need for amortisation? 1
Tommy G Posted 4 December 2024 Posted 4 December 2024 Guess we might raid man utd for a loan, same with Chelsea as seems like Enzo and RvN are mates. He'll be well connected all over which is a bonus. 1

Would be the end of Mavididi, too Any of these would be welcome: - A striker - A right back who can tuck in - A center half - An all rounder CDM - An attacking player who can play across the attacking midfield three

fox_up_north Posted 4 December 2024 Posted 4 December 2024 You guys could just save yourselves time and say "a new defence"
Hales Posted 4 December 2024 Posted 4 December 2024 Harvey and KDH didn't want to leave....bring them home! Chilwell...no....think he probably thinks he is better than Leicester now
Muzzy_no7 Posted 4 December 2024 Posted 4 December 2024 Valentin Gomez at Vélez would be a very good aquisition, can play at LB or LCB. Another option would be Martin Dardai at Berlin who is more of a CB and left footed. Still think Fotis Ionnadis is an option as a COMPLETE forward. Facundo Torres AMR/AMC. Patrick Berg DM. Adrian Bernabe MC.
Tuna Posted 4 December 2024 Posted 4 December 2024 Any chance whatsoever of getting Barnes we have to ask the question. 2

Adrian Bernabe MC. 1 goal in 18 games for Fotis this season. Think he needed to go whilst his stock and confidence was high. Doubt Berg is good enough. To be 27 and still playing in Norway, after a failed stint in France hardly snacks of a player who's up to PL standards. Think people living 4/5 years in the past with that one. 1

I think he looks like he has the attributes but his goalscoring record is really poor aside from last year, and that's in a league that is considerably weaker than the Championship. If he was £5m then worth a punt, but for £20m+, no way in our financial situation. Again with Berg, if he was a few million it's worth a shot but in modern football, you have to question any player who plays top flight football and hasn't made the transition to a top 5 league by the age of 27. We either go for young players with potential or some short termish deals for players with actual proven quality at the highest level (i.e. not the Ayew's or BDR's who have never been great at this level, but players a step above) 1
richardsfoxes Posted 5 December 2024 Posted 5 December 2024 Right back, Centre Mid, Winger, Striker. Would be happy with a right back and Winger.
Muzzy_no7 Posted 5 December 2024 Posted 5 December 2024 Right back options: Ben Godfrey Emil Breivik Trai Hume Gabriele Zappa Joakim Maehle

Simonb Posted 5 December 2024 Posted 5 December 2024 If Harvey Barnes was a genuine option I'd 100% be looking at that. Way above Mavididis level. I'd also take slab head on loan for six months if available too, better than what we have. Other than that I've no idea whose available but left back and right back need sorting ASAP too.
Tielemans63 Posted 5 December 2024 Posted 5 December 2024 (edited) Would take Harvey back in a heartbeat. He wasn't too keen on leaving in the first place was he? Or am I kidding myself? Edit: would be very happy with the Return of the Slab too, but he's on mega wages isn't he? Edited 5 December 2024 by Tielemans63
