Silebyfox_89 Posted 24 October 2024 Posted 24 October 2024 Striker + Centre midfield are priorities for me.
FosseSpark Posted 24 October 2024 Posted 24 October 2024 Newcastle are willing to listen to offers for 25-year-old English midfielder Joe Willock in January. (Ekrem Konur) would be a great signing if available for the right money. progressive number 8, gets a goal, good pace. 2

fkas Posted 25 October 2024 Posted 25 October 2024 Trying to sign players in January is always iffy, strikers doubly so. We'd end up paying through the nose. The only exception to that rule is if we can bargain hunt and find a former wonderkid that's made a move and not lived up to their promise yet. Similar to Tielemans. ManU have just done similar with de Ligt. Probably need a less high profile one that de Ligt. If we can pick up one or two still under 25 we could potentially get two or three good seasons and still net a profit.
JimJams Posted 25 October 2024 Posted 25 October 2024 All of our fullbacks are struggling on a continual basis to both defend and have a significant impact going forward. Should we be looking for traditional fullbacks, wingbacks or using CB's in the same way Ben White, Timber, Nathan Ake have adapted to the FB role?
Popular Post Tuna Posted 26 October 2024 Popular Post Posted 26 October 2024 New full backs, totally obvious now 6
Simonb Posted 27 October 2024 Posted 27 October 2024 Has to be a left back, a center back, a striker and possibly an 8 Wouldn't spend anything notable though, purely loans .. January's a poor market

Dahnsouff Posted 27 October 2024 Posted 27 October 2024 No fullbacks, just a left footed CB for our 3 at the back 1

Seems like a signing we'd have made in the Championship rather than the PL but his profile is the type of player we need for that role.

We missed a trick with Arthur Theate in the summer. 1
foxfanazer Posted 28 October 2024 Posted 28 October 2024 Borja Sainz from Norwich. They usually sell fairly cheap
Pita Posted 29 October 2024 Posted 29 October 2024 A new striker is a must and if we have any money left a CB both will be very hard to find in January

Fatawu was left out and only included when Cooper realised he was better than Reid Alves could be Maradonna in training but he has no premier league experience why would you trust Coopers judgement of a player when he is famous for his misjudgement of player selection and tactics on a weekly basis? I suppose everyone else is tearing it up in training 1
ronnup Posted 30 October 2024 Posted 30 October 2024 What will be interesting is how willing we are, able to invest. With some decent incomings of actual quality , we could really solidify a push. When do we ever have a good xmas? 1
Kierzz Posted 30 October 2024 Posted 30 October 2024 Most important signing we need is a new manager....but surely we can't wait until January.
