Almost thought I was reading myself there...

Another reason I can't stand them, I grew up in north Leicestershire when Forest lucked upon Cloughie and Taylor. All the glory hunter fans they had then. I quite like the city though. If only there was some way for the Trees to fold and for the established team Notts County to be the team for Nottingham folk to follow.

Spot on. Feel exactly the same.

If we win 6 of our last 30 games, do you think that’ll be enough to stay up? That would be 27 points plus you’d think 6 or 7 draws. And I’d like to think that would be a worst case scenario.

27 points would have kept you up last season. A record low.

35 should be comfy though.

Going to be a very Tasty fixture especially following the sanctions and fines put on Florist Nuno & their owner, can see us winning this if Blooper puts out most of the 11 that ended the game with Southampton and give a display like the 2nd half so heart says 2-1 city head says 1-1; But really hope we go out and play a heart felt game and not allow florist to Boss us about this is where Blooper must show his so called football genius and put out a team to  demolish the florists and send them home with their branches between their legs !!

Trent Bridge cricket ground is a good place and the river itself looks good imo. A good night can be had at Rock City. It's not all bad surely 😆

I think both teams have ridden their luck somewhat. Forest really had full command of the lucky stick when they fluked a result against Arsenal (who had umpteen near misses). But it's time for class to make its mark. We've got some excellent players in Fatawu, Vardy, Goodight and Mads. Let's demolish those Trees!

I’m hoping  Vardy Facundo & Bilal et al bring out the chainsaws & chop down a few trees time for a revenge from the Bodgers debacle !!

The city isn't terrible, but the people are spectacularly arrogant.

I do think we'll need more than last season, but probably slightly fewer than average. Southampton and Ipswich look miles off, in spite of the sheer graft the latter put in, and I have been shocked by how poor West Ham, Palace and Wolves have been. A couple of them will gel and improve, but not all of them. At least three have set the tone for a very long season.

And drink Madri. And talk like they from Sheffield.

The Forest fanbase is also extremely unlikeable. This isn't even a regional thing; they are pretty much universally disliked for their egos and delusion, aside from the odd performative banner at Anfield where they try to make the Hillsborough Disaster about them.

2-2.. vardy and Mavididi.. wood to bag a brace for them including a late pen.

Definitely winnable though. Would be nice for a fast start for a change though

Just don't get why some call them Florist. Is that an insult? Makes them sound flowery and fragrant.

Snotters or Snotties. Or just simply Notts Forest will do.

The people of Nottingham as a city and fans of Nottingham Forest are so desperate for a nationally known identity yet nationally, no-one cares. Its not an awful spot but it's just another city.

Not even close to cities like Liverpool, Bristol and Newcastle on any level

Their fans genuinely, without a hint of irony, think their club is one of the biggest eight clubs in the country and globally recognised. Realistically, the club is no bigger than its East Midlands neighbours and certainly nowhere near the likes of any of the big names from London, Liverpool, Manchester, Newcastle or even Birmingham.

The last 2 results mean that there's less pressure on this points-wise, hopefully play with a bit more freedom and attacking intent. Crowd will make a difference.

Beat these and we're in a great position- a point at Ipswich would do.
