The trouble is that's been said of all our wingers now.

Very true.  Its a concern because theres some truth in the argument they are producing more off the bench than starting .  What is it?  A case of opposition tiring legs?  Or a case of "ill show you for benching me"?

I think it's a case of pretty much being behind in games so having no choice but to play on the front foot.

Even the most ardent Leicester fan should admit they got away with it and escaped with a point t

Lol, the audacity after last season!

1-1 was absolutely the right result. We didn't nick nothing. You should be grateful there wasn't two more minutes of injury time otherwise you'd be looking at another defeat.

Fair play to McKenna. He's polished a turd. Largely a league one outfit putting in very decent PL performances. Kudos to that.

We just covered this in our Instant Match Reaction.

The problem is that the table says that we are 5 points clear of the relegation zone after 10 games and ahead of Everton and Palace. That sounds amazing!

But we have been so lucky, we really have. These lucky breaks will catch up to us eventually. From a tactical standpoint we are an absolute mess, players don't know if they are coming or going.

The only positive I can really say is that Jordan Ayew is actually a good signing. He's got us 4 points already and if he does nothing else this season, he probably already paid for himself.

Normally I watch your match reaction, but Ive been out.

But the board will only see out position and be happy, but it should be the DoF to identify the performance and tactical issues, and he won't. It's so glaring and our next few games we could be mullered like a fruit corner, especially against Enzo. He'll be laughing at what we've become.

Genuine question... are you happy with our performances this season? Not the results or the league position, just the performances? Are they in line with how you would have expected us to perform?

I simply pointed out that we gained a point when you said we gained nothing, which in the big picture is not a bad thing at all, especially in the way we kept going. FWIW, I don't think Cooper is a great manager by a long way and we could do better of course. But, in my opinion, many here over estimate the quality of this squad. We've heard how great the wingers are, how Vesty was a revelation last season, how Ricardo is still a really great player. I've no doubt a better coach might well indeed improve their play. But even Pep would struggle to address some of the fundamental frailties they exhibit every week.

I hope we continue to dog out points and if we can get a better manager and the players respond and improve, then that's fine by me as a Foxes fan.

Still trying to figure out how that wasn't a pen in the moments before Phillips' red card

I'm guessing cos Fats sort of plants himself in front of the player and they collide, so they're judging it as 'a coming together' rather than a foul.  I'd want it if it was the other way around though.

Having just seen it again, it's a foul.  We lucked out.

I think I need another replay. Probably one of those that the VAR wouldn't have overruled if the ref has given it either way

Btw what the **** was that from Soumare? Seen one off; sticks another on the deck and puts a decent pass into Ayew

Reminded me of big Trev Benjamin away at Sheff Utd. Bramall Lane looked like a scene from the Somme battlefields after a similar run

I can only think they thought he don't have control of the ball, and it was a coming together rather than a foul.

If that was against us I’d have been going mad! :D

Looked an obvious pen.

Absolutely not, we simply do not have a squad of players any better than a relegation fight.
This squad, right now is not of the quality to be midtable in this league. Thats not to say I think we couldn’t improve, but right now we have a manager who’s remit is to survive not thrive - he keeps us up, we shake hands and then we move on to the manger who can carry us forwards.

This might well be true but we had £65m worth of summer signings on the bench.  In other words, we have blown the budget without improving the team which is criminal.  Yes, it was a summer signing that came off the bench and saved the day but the value that we have got for the other £60m is very poor.  Opportunity wasted.

Genuine question  what we're you expecting?

Has there been a single game yet this season that the Cooper out mob didn't think we should have won and dominated easily if only we'd had another manager?

I'm expecting a relegation battle. I'm expecting us to lose/draw more than we win. I'm not expecting us to be dominated by the likes of Ipswich. Whilst our squad may not be the best, it is better than the.garbage performances we've seen so far this season. We haven't deserved to win a single game and whilst it's a results business, our luck will eventually run out and we will see more games like the Forest game unless we hire an actual football manager soon. I can accept being shit, I can accept losing games, I can accept a relationship battle, I cannot accept having a manager that is woefully out of their depth.

The signing of Bilal was very much a ‘return to type’, so I am not sure I buy that 65m of it has been wasted.
