I’d take a 2 goal loss, but would like us to score to keep the run alive. No idea who’s going to play or why, and while managers should struggle with that sort of wildcard, I don’t they do.

This isn't man u 1999 edition. You know that, right?

My first trip to Old Trafford tomorrow, taking the train. I’m going with my 9yo so not looking for a boozer, but if anybody has any recommendations of things to do on the way to and from Old Trafford I’m all ears. Taking the train to Piccadilly and have a few hours before and after the match.

https://www.classicfootballshirts.co.uk/ shop in the centre may be of interest to kill some time.

I get that, but they’ll want to impress the new gaffer in the stands. And it’s RvNs last game as manager… I see us getting an absolute hiding. Wouldn’t be surprised if Zirkee bags a brace.

I fear a hideous pumping in this game

we might lose aswell . . .

Just looking forward to see Johannes from Strictly make his come back in our squad again

and obviously spoon a chance wide from 2 yards out as normal . . . . .

If we can’t beat Ipswich we won’t get near united 3-0

Are you mad?  Our gaffer recently masterminded a comfortable win over a manager that even Pep has lauded and become a student of.  There's levels in this game.  No way RvN can bridge that gap.

I thought they were awful against our second xi (which man for man was right down their with the 2005-2008 era)

Robin van Persie so desperate for a result, he fielded his first xi

That was the first period where I had a season ticket (shudder)

typical of us to lose 3 nil when theyve only managed to scored 4 all season at OT

I’m not optimistic, but you never know with footy. They’ll assume they’ll be able to walk all over us after the Carabao match, it could be their downfall. However that relies heavily on Cooper making some good calls, and I don’t see that happening.

I have funny optimistic feeling for the first time this season.

Manchester Red between an interi  and new manager.  They've do e okay for 3 games. I think their inconsistency will surface

Apologies if this has been asked already, is the game on sky or the red button does anyone know?

It’s not.

We seem to be very negative in our expectations with this one. If we demonstrate fight energy bravery and teamwork we can come away with points in this one. A win will take us above them in the table but we need to be bold and assertive. COYB
