Am I the only one thinking our bench looks bloody awful, but I'd still probably swap half the players on it for the starting 11 Steve has picked?

 

If Vardy and Ricardo are injured its unfortunate but out of Cooper's hands, however I'd much rather we then have Khannouss, Mavadidi and probably Skipp than the likes of Ayew (even if I don't think he's as bad as others do), or Soumare. 

 

I worried before seeing the lineup about creating chances, (and this Man Utd defence is one we should be able to get at), now I'm terrified we (once again) won't register a shot on target all of the first half. (Happy to be proven wrong though).

He got an assist deep in to added time to get us an important point vs a relegation rival and he was rested in the cup tie vs Man United.

Easy 3 or 4-1 to them. Faes to throw his arms in the air after conceding a goal he's clearly at fault for, Boubakary "there's a player in there" Soumare to jog about like he's just eaten four carveries, us being unable to clear the ball any meaningful distance again and again and again, Mads to stop it being a cricket score, Cooper to come out after and talk about getting "back out on the grass"

Oh I am trust me but that team right there is rancid. The defence and midfield is a bomb scare and then Ayew up top. Gotta hope Fatawu and Buanonotte create something from nothing and Mads has another blinder

It's all well and good starting Soumare, but he had an impact when he came on for Ndidi in the last match and in the cup Ndidi didn't play. When you play Soumare and Ndidi together it just doesn't work, like when we used to wheel out Mendy and Ndidi together, or Choudhury and Ndidi. It shouldn't even need to be said, he's been here many years now but we're still making these mistakes.

Not against the forward line if Vardy’s out. Ayew can win free kicks and get us up the pitch to relieve pressure, got a goal in him too as we know. Worry about the back four though, think we ship a few today. Worry about Soumare too, so want him to do well, but I think he’ll be puffing after 20 minutes.
