The Rudkin news is hardly surprising he was the one that wanted Cooper, but no one else did, and it got signed off,  Cheerio Rudkin :yahoo:

Mate it was obviously a joke lol

Pearson who had Steve Walsh essentially do that for him pre-Rudkin?

Why?

Oh, I know the answer to this one …… it’s because I sleep better when I know Nige is at the club. 😍

There's nothing quite like Foxestalk when we're in the hunt for a new manager. People putting their accounts on the line lol

Absolutely at its finest the past couple of days.  I'm on holiday so I've thoroughly been enjoying the spectacle and refreshing frequently.

He's a risk of course, we're looking at a scenario where we opt for a manager who progresses exponentially ala Alonso or at least Maresca to a lesser degree. But I like that idea over a perceived safe pair of hands which is comparable to the myth of Premier League experience as a player that often is no more of a guarantee of success and usually very costly in comparison.

There seems to be a worry that if RVN succeeds, then he will be straight off to a better club (like Enzo). Right now, i say lets embrace that and get the next candidates ready like Brighton do, rather than thinking a manager will be here for 5 years. I want someone here who really wants to succeed, which RVN will need.

If the narrative that Cooper’s appointment was 100% Rudkin ( and he doubled down recently paying bundles to bring over coaches from Forest) is true ,then in any organisation subject to oversight he would have to consider his position surely ?

100%. At least by appointing a young up and coming manager, we go into things with the possibility they could be great, and make a huge impact. Better that than settling for a tried and tested type whose ceiling we will know in reality.
