Suppose the only difference was Percy has said its Ruud, where as in the summer everyone else was saying it was Potter and then he broke it was going to be Cooper.

I actually like Carsley, he’s been brilliant for England. I didn’t even mind his failed multiple number 10’s experiment v Greece at home. It helped him understand the team more and England played way better football with a far more logical line up than Southgate ever did.

I just see Cooper all over again if we appoint him. A championship club should be where Carsley ends up.

I saw white smoke coming from the Cathedral yesterday so I assumed an announcement was due.

 

Obviously just burning paperwork.

People worried about the delay. These things take time, clauses in contracts that sort of thing, plus he’ll want assurances on his backroom staff and their contracts etc.

 

wouldn’t surprise me if it’s announced tonight and that he’ll be watching from the stands tomorrow, or worst case Sunday evening announcement
