I think Enzo always rated them as people, but didn’t like the structure (as it’s not where it needs to be for a club in 2024) which I think is a fair assessment.

He didn’t rate them in their jobs. All the positive talk recently should be taken with a pinch of salt, fundamentally there’s no point in slagging people off when there’s no gain to it(Enzo not working for them).

Any manager would have wanted assurances about what we can spend due to the obvious frailties in our squad.

RVN has publicly said before that January and the summer were both discussed during negotiations.

If he has been lied to I wouldn’t blame him for walking. We would then have a situation where the last three managers (excluding Cooper) have all been lied to about transfer budgets. Not a good look and would severely hinder us attracting managers and players in the future.

If he walks we’ll end up with someone of Championship level who will take a punt on us. It will get dark and I think we’d tank.

Rob Edwards most likely

The structure of the club is the reason we never got Potter.

He would be right to walk if he has been lied to. The thing is, Leicester is now getting a reputation of being a basket case club. A third manager being lied to about funds etc. would not harm RVN that much.

It’s unfortunate that we have a board and owner with very few principles that they keep doing it.

The thing is, the reputation is only with us fans who see it. The wider media and football fans think that we should still be gratefully for the title win and should accept that we have gone back to "where we belong" (being a yo-yo club).

Protests, banners and chants needed until something changes

Regarding managers that would come to us in the champ if RVN isn’t here and we go down.

If our entire transfer budget is £5m I’d spend the lot buying Danny Rohl out of his contract.

The job he’s doing at Wednesday is absolutely phenomenal. Serious serious talent based on his work there so far. If we go down, I hope Wednesday faulter and don’t nick a playoff place, Wednesday are only marginally a bigger circus than us and I reckon he would come. If I’m being honest I’d probably take him now.

Whoever it is whether Ruud or another manager, it can’t be a stop gap O’Neil/Cooper/Parker type, it has to be someone who will given time to build something because that’s the only way of sustained success. Aka Maresca, Rohl, the lad from Arsenal, even a Tom Cleverly type.

Nobody long term will be interested under our current ownership.

Rohl should definitely be on our radar

I think RVN would need to think carefully before walking.  Yes if he was lied to then he has every right to walk.  But equally he hasn’t earned his stripes here like he had at PSV.  He’d done well with them, and walked away when they wouldn’t back him in signings I believe.  But so far, with us, his record is worse than Cooper’s.  He’s made some dubious team selections, and overseen some horrific player mistakes.

So if he walked, he wouldn’t be holding his head high like when he left PSV.  He’d be walking away as a bit of a failure, who bizarrely played Ayew over Buenanotte!  I doubt he’d get a job at another PL club any time soon, and he’d have to go back to Europe to build up his reputation again.  And of course he’d presumably have to pay us some compensation.  So I wouldn’t have thought it’s a move he’d rush into.

I doubt he would if he has ambitions of a career in management, 2 walk outs in 2 jobs isn't a good look.

But considering he was never that interested in management in the first place it's a possibility. If there's one club that could put someone off being a manager for life it's certainly us in our current state! Ha

One thing we need to do as fans is support him and the team, we can't control the potential psr issues and general madness above him, but we can give him and the team a lift.

There seems to be a disconnect with what is being reported by the likes of Percy and what Ruud is saying.

Yeah. And RVD appeared like he's not surprised and in the loop, which is contrast to Enzo and Rodgers.

I think he will be surprised come the end of the window when we haven’t signed anyone.
