He's been out of work for 9 out of the last 14 months. I think clubs might look at him falling for the lazy line of "Leicester were out of the relegation zone when they sacked him", and then they'll delve a bit deeper and see we were bottom on basically every measurable metric during his time here and not take things further.

From what I can see, Cov, Cardiff, Oxford, Millwall, Stoke, Plymouth, Luton, West Brom, Derby and Blackburn have all appointed managers since he's been available.

He might have turned them down thinking he's worth another prem job? Not saying he is, but if I was him I'd wait until the summer and see what comes up, even if he does (and likely to) end up back in the champ anyway.

Cooper seems to have left management temporarily or even perhaps permanently after us.

It will be interesting to see where the careers of the two managers selected to keep us up end up.

I suspect Cooper will get a Championship side with promotion aspirations in the Summer. As for the current manager, there will be another nutcase of a chairman who will hire him on the basis of a great playing career.

Cooper may end at Southampton in the summer, im not sure their current coach will stick around in the championship.

Wouldn't surprise me. I can't see many lower end prem jobs coming up. It's fast becoming a stable 17 team league with 3 annual visitors. Why take the risk? Man U and Spurs will probably change and you would think Iriola will get tempted elsewhere (maybe Spurs) but I can't see anyone else changing in the near future.

Can’t wait for whoever Cooper manages next season to do the double over us:wub: some things are just inevitable.

Sounds like they are willing to pay out to get Rohl from Sheff Wed

Haven’t the papers linked Southampton with Rohl already? 😢

In 67 games, He has a 20% win rate in the premier league and his teams have conceded 70% more goals then what they have scored

Comparable record with Steve Kean. He's a crap PL manager.

Even in the championship he managed:

6th with Guehi, Gallagher, Andre Ayew

4th with Gyokeres, Rodon, Ayew, Hourihane, Conor Roberts, Gibbs-White but still..

Obviously those players were much younger then

Facundo has been giving the ball away cheaply for a while. When he came on against Brentford there was some more energy, but he ran into brick walls. He was awful against West Ham, and that clearance that led to the first goal was mind boggling. Imagine if Daka had done that?

Mavididi has been really bad for a while. I thought he had a spell earlier in the season where i looked like he was coming along, and arguably he changed the game against Brighton when he came on.

Personally, i would start Facundo and Mavididi, or maybe Ayew over Mavididi. But im not going to pretend those starting 2 in the team are going to keep us up.

Stats say facundo gives the ball away less than ayew

i would presume both sets of stats aren't great.

He’s created most chances and big chances. And that’s when he hasn’t played consistently for months.

Yes I just pointed it out as people use it as a reason not to pick him over ayew when its not true and he is more productive attacking wise than ayew and has better defensive interception and block stats as well

The Dutchman's cucks have done everything they can think of to justify his horrific tenure..

There is no trying to explain it away. It's sheer arrogance. Petulance. Same as Rodgers kyboshing the season by playing Ward.

The is absolutely zero mitigation (defensively sound formation ....keeps possession better ....better assists and goals blah blah) for playing the personnel and formation the arrogant cvnt chooses to each week.

Ward. Bdcr. Same ol' defence.. Midfield unable to cope as a two. A literally useless Vards. An absolute travesty of a relegation.

Started working as an UEFA Technical Observer - a very common interim job for out of work managers

It's still a departure from working as manager. Other ex managers working in the role are Fabio Capello and Rafa Benitez, who wont be in a job any time soon.

I was advocating for picking facundo over ayew and saying that the stats suggest that he should be.

I was saying RVN was wrong definitely not defending him
