He needs players, too many players are brain dead to the core.

So did the previous manager. This squad wasn’t good enough when it got promoted.

Very true, however Cooper had alot more opportunity on influencing who we brought in and had a preseason

Moyes would have been the better manager for this crop of players.

No sh*t....

and so would Potter.

But neither of them would join us and have now both got better appointments

Vanity project.  He needs to go, I've seen nothing to say he can get a tune out of these players.  We been comfortably the worst team in every prem game he's taken.  4 points out of 24 says it all

People saying what does his have to do, get them playing at tempo that's uncomfortable for the opposition, not over 40 veterans pace.

Change a formation, play JJ as a auxiliary RW when he can't beat a man or cross, which leaves us wide open to counters.

Make players take responsibility, you make the mistake you go and front it up to the media in post match interviews.

Stop playing a 38 year old in a system which leaves him isolated.

Same system that has always left Vardy isolated. And yes at 38 he isn’t the player that is scoring on the scraps he gets.

A different formation would be a start five at the back to at least attempt to stop the goals. Thats on the manager.

Having said that the players Cooper brought in / the club sanctioned were not good enough. Yet again. We’ve one or two shining lights but by en large we have an average team who shy away from a fight.

For the 1st 15-20 minutes we look great never went backwards , then we went straight back to the old whys . In attack we don’t seem to know how to draw a player to put a team mate in on goal .
well we are going back down , need to clean house and bring in more players who want to win

I dunno if I’m looking at this differently, but when Man U were having a shitter, he took charge and beat us twice, so maybe he isn’t as shit as he looks here. Plus, like them, I don’t think we can keep just saying “sack this manager now”. After the third sacking do you think maybe there might be a bigger problem than the manager? It’s just easy to stick the blame there.

And still managed to conclude we needed Ayew, BDCR and a £25m Skipp. Just kept on adding to the festering pile of deadwood.

With Cooper still in charge I believe we would be on a few more points. 16 or 17 total and goal difference better possibly. He did seem to know how to make something happen in the final third especially.

Fine lines, the squad is shite regardless.

For me I'm looking at this and trying to be balanced, the squad is awful, the squad is likely to take us down and we don't have a big budget, but Ruud isn't helping himself at times. So it comes down to a few questions imo:
- Are there any managers available NOW who can keep us up? I'm not so sure with where we are in January, and managers like Moyes now in a job, and we probably would need to spend half of our transfer budget sacking Ruud.
- Is Ruud doing enough to improve the players we currently have to keep us up? I don't think so.
- If we do go down, is Ruud showing us that he has the managerial capacity to take us down, potentially take a points deduction, and build a foundation that can get us straight back up? I'm not sold at the moment, and right now if we are looking over our shoulder at the potential to go down, we need a manager who is building NOW, not sacking Ruud in the summer and scrambling around for someone like Danny Rohl.

I can't blame him for individual mistakes, but on the things we can judge, his in-game management is iffy, the subs today were rotten, and defensively, we look just as bad as we did and are not really improving, if he is to keep us up, or god forbid take us down and rebuild he has to prove he can build, right now we are in freefall, can't score and can't defend.

Vardy is done at this level unfortunately, his legs won't do what his mind wants him to do.
I really want to get behind Ruud, one of my favourite footballers of all time, whenever I think of Manchester United I think of Ruud in the Vodafone shirt, and I can think of many reasons to defend him and why he has been thrown in at the deep end, but for me he just isn't proving he can make us solid.
We are still in this fight, we need everyone to pull together and fight for the badge, we have too many passengers.

Yep, this where Top and Rudkin share the blame.  Do you when Mandaric got rid of Mad Dog, he was like this guy doesn't know shit in the transfer market.  Top should have intervened

I don’t think a manager change solves anything. This is a better team offensively than under Cooper, and about the same defensively.
