3 reasons you think we could survive

Help … because I’m really struggling to see how we do it and I want to be positive  but we get battered every week, if not in scoreline then in chances conceded. Only way I see it, is if we have an unbelievable January window but with our track record is that even remotely realistic?

RVN has more tactical identity and far superior game management skills to Cooper.

I’m struggling, I have a steady 2 though Hermansen in goal, Jamie Vardy, the 3rd probably pure luck that is it!! I have said it before 80% of our team are championship players who lack quality

It all hinges on January for me. If we can get three players that significantly improve our starting 11, then it can make a big difference.

Mads is the best keeper of all the teams in the bottom 7.

Vardy will always score goals if he’s given the chances.

Southampton, Wolves, Ipswich, Palace and Everton are all equally as crap as we are.

1. RVN as a manager will at least give us a fighting chance. He will target certain games for 3 points whereas Cooper would have just sat back hoping not to lose.

2. With RVN as manager, we may at least see the odd player willing to come in January that is attracted to working with him. I also think he has the respect of players. 

3. When certain injured or  suspended players return and possibly with a couple of additions in January, I still think overall we have a better squad than a few of our lower rivals.

Agreed but we are gonna need to be spend at least 30/40 mill and do we have that?

It’s kinda like putting the table in reverse, we won the league having a clinical goal scorer and having a top goalkeeper, it’s the same with every club that wins the league, I find with relegation a shite goalie  like Ward WILL relegate us! Surly stunning he relegated us 2 season ago it’s not harsh it’s pure facts!! The donut is still at the club is pure neglect

Well that’s the other point. Genuinely if we go down, we won’t be back for years and years. Points deduction, best players leaving, we will become another run of the mill championship club, everything is on this season. Everything.

The big point is we haven’t been dropping points to teams underneath us. We’ve gritted out two favourable results away at Saints and Ipswich. 
 

The keeper was one, who knows now. 
 

RvN has realised that we can be an effective attacking unit if we get it right

Still think we'll be ok because Wolves are in such a mess and you have to consider Southampton all but down already. We've been competitive with the teams around us but we can't keep conceding so many. Just need to have our head above water if possible going into January. Ipswich picking up some form could be a worry as they've not lost many, could it click for them? January is key, we need quality recruitment and we need to get it right.

I haven’t got a third. The January window does not fill me with confidence. Even when we were flying high in this league, we couldn’t deliver a good Jan window. In fact, the last time we pulled a rabbit out the hat in Jan was getting Huth in. We are reliant on 3 teams being worse than us. And that’s it.

I was very positive with Ruud, even if I wasn't expecting anything out the game today but I simply cannot shake this pit in my stomach about Mads.

 

I cannot watch Ward again. I refuse the deja vu. He's going to have to be fine for Wolves. Just icepack the groin 24/7 until then.

Neither good enough to be professional footballers, let alone in a PL squad.

I said it after the relegation season, I will never see him play for us again. 

 

I cannot and will not be party to him representing us. He seems a nice enough lad and I do feel for him. But he in every sense isn't worthy of the shirt. 

 

He should've had his contract paid up in full upon relegation and given beat wishes
