1. NUFC loan us Harvey Barnes to make room for their shock acquisition of Neymar.

2. Danny Ward is reassigned from first team duties to back-up Filbert Fox.

3. Jon Rudkin inherits a rubber plantation on Borneo and falls into a vat of molten latex.

Outside of those, not much comes to mind …

Let's hope Filbert doesn't do his ACL

Can you genuinely see them getting an automatic demotion or a massive points penalty?

The precedent would be Juventus in 2006. No points deduction but an automatic relegation.

1) Yesterday was not typical

2) We have goals in the team

3) It is written (perhaps)

We conceded 4 in our last away game as well (so that's the last two away games now). And it was the third time this season we conceded 4 away from home.

We allow to many shots against us, opposition have to many chances against us, for us to sustain anything. We're going to be conceding 4 in other games too.

But not most games, one would hope. You are of course very welcome to disagree, but I was asked for my 3 reasons :)

Another reason I think we stay up is because we have done OK against the teams around us, even under Cooper.

Southampton (A) 3-2 win.

Ipswich (A) 1-1 draw.

Palace (A) 2-2 draw.

Everton (H) 1-1 draw.

West Ham (H) 3-1 win.

Get into those same three teams we've played away, but at the KP under RVN and after a transfer window and we can get some points. Where we need to do better is against midtable and higher sides, as we've only exceeded expectations against Bournemouth, Spurs and Brighton so far. But winning those six pointers, or at least not losing them, could look big by the end of the season.

One reason is all we need. Vardy. Whilst he may be getting on, he's still miles better than any strikers playing for teams towards bottom of the table.

One reason we might stay up is I'm able to go more often from January and we've taken 7 points from the 3 games I've been to this season.

You must attend every home game from January until the end of the season or relegation will be solely your fault!

It will be that we less shit than 3 other teams.  Some seasons this isnt that hard, take last season, others its more difficult.

I think saints were done, they probably still favourites even with Russel gone, Ipswich arent done, Wolves now depends on how good their new manager is, Palace will be fine, Everton I feel will be just about good enough.  So is 3 out of 4, or 2 out of 4 if Man City get forced out.

I find myself more bothered about other things though, like we cant make football decisions for shit now with Rudkin and Top, that I feel is a much bigger issue.  Unable to shift squad players because an obsession with paper profit is crippling us, and we badly need someone above the manager with connections and know how when it comes to football decisions and squad building, the squad is a complete mish mash of different types of players with no organised process.

We will stay up because

Man City get relegated after 100 pt fine

ipswich and Southampton finish below us

Reckon it'll be 1/4 of that, plus a fine, at most.

When will their punishment be announced?

Not for a very long time apparently.

They're (Man City) probably negotiating to try and reduce the punishment via lawyers etc..

Southampton.

Ipswich.

Wolves

This is the correct answer.

Every team near the bottom of the table has fans who believe they’re doomed. Only three will be right. The bottom 6 or seven have huge flaws just like we do, and Southampton looks truly cooked. It’s like the guy who goes camping in bear country with his friend, wearing running shoes. The friend says “Dude, why are you wearing running shoes?”

“These woods are full of bears.”

The friend laughs. “You can’t outrun a bear. They can run 30 MPH.”

”I don’t have to outrun the bear. I only have to outrun you.”

So the bear will kill only one of them ???
