I've seen alot of people bang on about Sauvage but tried a tester and really don't see what the fuss is about. See alot of fuss about Tom Ford, not tried any testers yet, seems outrageously pricey, with that in mind anyone tried the replica ones? Thoughts? I know a couple of people who have and whilst the seem decent they also seem very overpowering.

 

I quite like Issy Miyake fragrances and Mont Blanc explorer

Prefer the Boss but other half prefers Code, so it's often that.

 

Boss got a new one out this year bottled absolu and it’s unreal

Recently bought another bottle of Creed Aventus from John Lewis and it’s just not the same as my original 

that i drained after eighteen months (special occasions) .

It is not as strong or long lasting. Seems they’re economising on the essentials.

Different batches perform differently and the newer ones are just not as good. Their newer aventus absolu is a lot better but the price is crazy. Louis Vuitton Imagination or Penhaligon Halfeti are 2 fragrances which are a lot better imo and worth checking out.

Another 13 by Le Labo for me, absolute beaut.

 

I have to admit for my WFH days I use Noted Aromas with their r̶i̶p̶-̶o̶f̶f̶s̶ adaptations of famous fragrances. They're pretty good on the whole and cheap as chips.

I've got imagination and Halfeti, belters. you can smell Halfeti half a mile away.

Yeah they are probably my two favourites that I have. I had a sample of Halfeti on sitting on a train and a very attractive woman next to me said “I have to say you smell amazing” that quickly warranted a full bottle purchase.

I ordered a halfteti sample, thanks for the recommendation, unfortunately much as I like it,

it gives me the sneezes and snot running down your face doesn’t get many compliments!

i must be allergic to one of the ingredients.
