Just going through some stuff and found this. Three and a half years ago.

 

Some might look back and have fond memories or want to reminisce, but I'm just angry how quickly we've pissed ten years of progress up the wall. It's practically yesterday in football terms that we were European regulars, but the club is unrecognisable. We're about as likely to ever be back there as our opposition following Mad Vlad's antics.

 

We're being run into the ground. Basket case.

I remember thinking on seeing Leicester, Spartak, Legia, Napoli that we'd never have a European group that fun ever again.

Perhaps he just doesn't have access to the funds we think he has these days, or to the funds King Power have which are now under the control of other members of his family who are perhaps less sympathetic to LCFC

I can't understand how forgiving our fans are to the owner who holds ultimate power, yet any football manager underneath is slagged off to high heaven.

I have no inside information but the wheels have come off so quickly and spectacularly after Vichai's death that I think there's lots going on behind the scenes that we don't know about. If it was just a matter of the chairman being incompetent, the other shareholders / boardmembers would surely have stepped in.

He has at least 75% control of the shares - was revealed last year, its as good as Top's club - just obviously the money tap which supplies is connected to King Power.

The sad thing is, nothing is going to change. We are just going accept it, read some AI written apology with some kind of "we will be back" catch phrase and enough people will buy in to it and we will just carry on into oblivion.
