Our confirmation statement is currently a month overdue on companies house.

Literally a two page document that has to say "I confirm all information held by companies house is up to date and correct"

Overdue.....

lol

The most senior business head within the company is the FD, somebody who was promoted from within a business that has lost about £400m from  £1.2 bn in turnover over 7 or 8 years.

We're going to start hearing some of the shit that's been going on behind the scenes as staff morale tanks with late payment of wages.

This is a real concern because it takes 5 minutes to complete and submit (I know I do it for my companies) the only reason not to do it is if there is concern that information is not correct. This is something the company secretary should be on top of.

Well they changed the clubs ownership backdated to 2018 in the filing the other year

so on that basis they’ve submitted incorrectly before

14th being reasonable? I think the Overton Window has taken its effect. Aiyawatt has swung it so far down, that we have become disillusioned to think what would actually be unacceptable has actually now become tolerable. This psychological effect has impacted the fanbase to a point where we are merely desperate for anything better than what is today.

4th to 10th is more apt. Thats being generous too, 10th is Fulham's nailed on spot.

Sad times, sad times.

Given that we're never going to be a "top 6" club, any team that does well for a bit have to juggle the inevitable cycle.

Do well, keep it up as long as you can, lose players, try not to drop too far. Brighton have bounced between 11th and 6th. They're generally considered the best run club that's not absolutely quids in.

We're edging closer and closer to the required 14 clubs to make changes being American, all of whom have demonstrated some desire to change the format of the English Premier League.

It would not be unrealistic to foresee a situation where... let's say 6 clubs all choose to have a "mandatory playoff position" style place, while the other 14 fight it out to avoid relegation and have a shot at at the FA or EFL cups.

Just bumped into a neighbour of mine who is a Blades fan and at the game last night. Nothing surprising about what he said. Was expecting a tough game but was shocked how bad we were. He wasn’t mocking, was genuinely shocked and apologetic for us having to watch that. He said definitely the worst side they have seen down there for some time. Not seen a side incapable of finding their own team mate as often with numerous times just passing the ball straight out etc etc.

Always good to raise awareness with other fans though. He said he had heard some Leicester fans talking about the boycott but I made him aware of the issues and he was very supportive of the action the fans need to take. I think most reasonable people will do. It’s unfortunate we have many of our own supporters actively working against this…

I remember the days when I mentioned we had to sell KDH when Brentford put that bid in two years ago and then arguing with the fella in Norway that we were ****ed on PSR.

If I could see how this was going to play out two years ago, how the **** couldn't those pair running this football club see it?

It's properly crap. As you say it's a 5 minute job for a competent accountant (or not even that). Who is advising these neanderthals? Probably no one.

Simple routine admin being missed. Can be punishable by fine or STRIKING OFF (though unlikely). Surprised the media haven't picked up on this yet.

You won't get struck off for an overdue confirmation statement, in fairness. But it's symptomatic of the crap leadership at the club. Bet the accounts will be late this year again, too.

We've gone from being classed as a club that had upset the big 6, and became one of those clubs to where we are now.

Potential relegation to league one is on the cards depending on the points deduction were expected to get.

How anyone can support what's happened the last 5 years or so are only doing so out of loyalty they think they owe the King Power group.

Success doesn't allow you to get away with repeated failure to the point of almost complete neglect.

Agreed, but the fact that is one of the options usually acts as an incentive to complete the form. As you say, who, if anyone, is advising them?

No one, I imagine. Why even bother having a Company Secretary? They probably got confused with the new Companies House ID checks.

The new secretary is the new FD after the former FD left.

Well if he can't even keep up with Companies House filing deadlines I worry about his ability to run the finances of the football club.

Promoted from financial controller to FD…. The KPFC way.

Jesus, was he? An FC role is many, many miles apart from an FD role. Outrageous they think it's a transferable skill set.

Nope! 11 years in that role of course…Funny thing is they hired someone below him who I went to school with who was previously head of finance at another local sporting team.

Jobs for the boys as usual.

There's a financial black hole isn't there...

Where's the official proof to that, though?

Think Whelan leaving says a lot of things.

Bring on the Leicester City civil war. We could very well be 17th in the league by the time we kick off on Monday night, that’s before the EFL stick us with a points deduction.

Yet we will still have KPFC willy pullers screaming to protect Emperor Top and his right hand man Rudkin. Boycott Monday, get involved in fighting for change before your club ends up like Woolworths.

Yeah no official proof.

But I doubt the financial statements will say otherwise. And it's not hard to add things up and come to a similar conclusion...

The lack of transfers because of high fees spent in last few years.

The overpayment on wages for players who aren't playing and should have been sold many moons ago.

Relegation x2.

Loans against TV money we don't have.

Late submission of accounts.

It doesn't add up to a well-oiled and well-run club that we used to be.

Off the pitch we used to be revered and envied. Now it's the total opposite. We're a laughing stock.
