The fact some on here think this won't reach boiling point is crazy. It's already toxic in the stands. Wont be long before it's nuclear! Top's got no choice but to communicate! I'd wager something will come out shortly after the 23/24 financial report is released.

There are buyers that would make me withdraw from football

I withdrew when there was a hooligan issue.

Kept an eye on City results,   Got involved again coaching kids football because of my son in 1997.   Stopped coaching my daughter's team in 2012.

There are things about current football that are soulless

Perhaps it’s time for KP to sell up. I’m not sure if their minds are fully committed to the club.

As good as they were.

Can’t see Top selling because of his dad. Can’t see him putting money in anymore

For me personally, I feel we do need to be fair given the journey we have been on with the current owners in charge.

Yes, things are bloody awful and it’s been a hard few years. But had we not achieved what we did since they took over, we wouldn’t be disgusted at the current state of play like we are now.

I do want to see changes - ie new structure in terms of how the club is run, recruitment etc.

But until we are back where we were when the owners came in, I couldn’t bring myself to protest against them.

I’m 37, was down filbert street at 4, went to the playoffs in the 90s - the club has been in worse states than this (both on and off the pitch) to the point where we nearly didn’t exist. Perspective is important.

Rudkin however, and the general structure of the club, I could protest about. Just not the owners themselves at this point. They have given us more than was ever reasonably expected.

The only owners I would take currently would be an oil state or something extreme like that. I wouldn’t let the Americans anywhere near us, and would be probably the most gutted I have ever been as a Leicester fan if we were bought by an American owner.

Most of them.

The issue is when people use king power as the term, to me it’s pre and post vichai, they are different even though the name is the same. King power now is an absolute joke, Vichais king power was beyond awesome, but that was a long time ago now, this shower we have in charge now are just an unfunny joke.

Out of interest, is there any current PL owner (other than Liverpool's, perhaps?) whom folk on here would genuinely swap King Power for?

Loads of them.

Last 4 years have been shocking.

As someone above says, you need to separate Vichai and Top.

Erm…Brighton, Brentford, Fulham, Villa and Ipswich. Those are the obvious ones without any ‘Big 6’ clubs or vile regimes/owners like Newcastle and Forest.

Edit, can add Bournemouth in there too.

Yes

Also I think fans are too money obsessed.

I just want transparency.

I'd rather play lower down and not be a billionaires dildo personally.

Very fair points and I do agree but also I would quite like an owner who pulls a gun out when the referee annoys him

This iteration? Basically anyone. Southampton may be an exception but even they for all their embarrassment haven't gotten into financial shit, and they're apparently having a bit of a restructure, so that's two things they have over us. All we have over them is better positioned finishes with the same outcome.

Top's ownership is a shambles.

All clubs that have won nothing in the last 20 years at least we tried, succeeded and then failed under this leadership. Despite losses Top has always made clear he underwrites our debts and we are a solvent going concern. Has overreaching hurt us yes but it was a glorious time which I would not swap for the comfort zone of all the clubs you mention. FFP, PSR are all designed to restrict ambition and that’s what has happened. The leaders of the EPL and EFL are self centered evil who need to be removed from the sport. Anyone who thinks anything else is Nieve and Deluded. Is Top perfect no but if The ever changing quicksand of FFP and PSR did not exist I believe he would have invested and we might be in a better place. If you think some perfect white knight is going to ride in and replace KP think again. Football takes deep pockets of losses name me one who wants to step up.

Someone above has named owners who are willing to take losses.

A lot of our losses are because we’re so badly run and have signed crap for years.

You need to separate KP under Vichai and KP under Top.
