They'll be without Duran.

Think will win this one; they can be quite suspectible defensively.

They’ll have to play their first choice striker instead

The Man City game sucked you all into a sense of false hope. They literally had no midfield aside from Kovacic and we still lost. Duran will be out thankfully but Villa will take us apart.

4-1.

I’d love to win this football match rather than lose it. I’d take a draw over a loss but a win over a draw. I would be happy if we were to beat the opposition. My mood would be improved if our team scored more than the opposition thus resulting in a win.

Basically this. They gave our midfield so much time and space and yet we couldn’t lay a glove. Not even a consolation. It was ok but glaring mistakes. The only hope is that the players got some confidence back. Villa will not let us move as we did yesterday.

Honestly Southampton wouldn’t let us move as we did yesterday. Man City have quality so they can still win games set up like that but it was also pretty obvious why they’ve been losing so many games.

That boy should be studied in sports psychology journals worldwide. Completely clear what was happening when he didn’t sign the contract. Fat shit

Villa have been much patchier this season. Need to put in performances like the last couple and hope that Villa are below the levels they can attain.

Yes, that's the best side currently with what we have available and on form

If we play like we did yesterday we have a chance

They've been brilliant at home for a couple of years though

I’d start Alves over Mavididi tbh. Mav’s winding me up at the minute, he’s a proper flat track bully in that put him a far superior team like last season and he’s raring to go, this season he doesn’t seem to have the attitude for a relegation scrap. Let the Leicester boy Alves get in there against a midlands rival and see what he can do.

Mavididi set up our best chance yesterday. He also missed a well work move cutting in. Everything came down his side the second half. Bilal moved to left to work with him. He isn’t going to beat 2/3 players as he did in the championship because the players are better but his contribution yesterday was fine.

I couldn’t put my finger on it but this was exactly it.

We still concede goals way too easily and that is what gets clubs better than our current squad relegated.

We’ve also only scored 6 goals in Ruud’s 6 games 😢
