Yes obviously. But I doubt a 7 time world champion has a problem with the pressures of playing minor tournaments.

 

if he wants to pull out of a tournament for his "mental health" or whatever reason he gives then he shouldn't be turning up and having a laugh with a TV company. WST should deny him entry to the venue. 

 

Let's be honest he just can't be arsed to play these sorts of events because they don't pay enough.

Bottom half of the draw is wide open. You'd hope Jack Lisowski would have a decent chance of winning it with the way the draw is, but he won't since he's Jack Lisowski.

That bottom half semi final sums up the state of snooker. Two 40 something also rans getting to the semis finals. I can understand the younger players finding it tough to beat the older legends like O'Sullivan, Williams, Higgins and Selby but they should be getting into the last 4 ahead of the likes of Carter and Maguire.

You should know by now mate what to expect from the Welsh Open, the last four winners have been Jordan Brown, Joe Perry, Rob Milkins and Gary Wilson

Its been a hard watch. Neither player looks confident and both are missing pots they would normally do with 1 eye closed. Maguire had a fairly easy red frame before last and he looked like he was having to psych himself up to take it, and missed it anyway

I say it time and time again but honestly, in terms of all time greats and even top 10 players I have never known a player lose so many frames after building a lead of 55-65 points than Mark Selby.
