Looks like he's deleted a bunch of Leicester related stuff off his Instagram. Don't know if he used to follow the club, but he doesn't now.

He did, and Leicester stuff posted. This would fit the narrative of him leaving.

Put a timer emoji on this one aswelll. Cryptic but in reality not really, I think he will defo be gone now. Expect to see it announced soon.

Add it to the long list on constant negative stream of  news coming out of the club. No doubt there be another loss tomorrow and then another player we either couldn’t sell or couldn’t buy. F**k everything to do with us right now. Yawn 🥱

With Monga, I'm sure I read that he only trains like 1-2 days a week? No way he's ready to go into the first team. He's got to go to school ffs!

perfect impact Sub then!

You'd expect a culture that's excellent for academy development if one of the most influential personnel at a club has an extensive background in academy leadership who's gone on to be a DOF. Have we got that?

My vision for Leicester is that we become pound for pound the best academy in the country based on not being the biggest club but having the best training facilities, best academy coaches and best ethos that develops players in to 1st team football to give them the best platform to progress.

I've read and heard all the excuses why we can't do that against the big boys but truth be told I've seen scant evidence of it being a major priority for our club in terms of serious investment in order to do so.

Like with many things I think we've got lazy from where we were chasing the dream a decade ago.

I agree with this so much.not just monga but we have really missed out on a priceless opportunity to build on past success. I feel to give players a pathway to the first team encourages other players to come and chose us. I know he’s not in our pool of players but  a classic example is Bellingham. He chose DVB over Man City, amongst others because he could see a clear development pathway to the first team and to big things. I honestly feel like this is the only realistic way to be a sustainable for a club like ours. I can’t believe people who are in charge of this club cannot see this.

if we don’t act we will continue to lose young players, we will continue to give journeyman and podcasters their last big contracts and continue to fail.

He played last night for the U21 and he was our best player by a mile. All the hype about Will Alves, in my opinion, this kid is already better than Will. He looked electric everytime he received the ball, beat players at will with both speed and strength, it was just a shame those around him couldn't capitilise.

If we are able we need to tie him down to a long term contract immediately.

So he can leave for another club whenever he wants and we have no say in the matter? How can that be right or even fair?

Alves has not recovered fully from

his injury and was not mature enough for the early recognition - the hype has not helped his development and he needs a loan in league one imo whereas Monga has something extra but whether we can keep him is another matter - like Nyoni his head has been turned unfortunately !

It’s how we got him in the first place. He wasn’t born in a lab at seagrave.

If they were, they still wouldn’t get a chance in first team.
