the forest match alone should have had him with rhe u21s until now. a sideshow shitshow. get a new CB in and have Okoli, Vestergaard and Coady competing to go alongside him. And get Nelson back.

Never have rated him a bombscare and at times a liability.  May look like David Luiz certainly cant play like him.  Never forgiven him for the two own goals he scored against Liverpool in that New Year game.  KDH had put us in front until his antics Liverpool didn't look like scoring that night.

Said it before, there'll be clubs that'll think if they can iron out his lapses in concentration and cashless that they'd have a top class centre half and he'll have clubs in Europe that would want him. We need to be sensible on price and recouping our money isn't the most unreasonable demands I've read from us over the years. I also don't think he's on stupid wages either.

Got a feeling this happens.

Every time you “have a feeling” something is going to happen it usually never does.

Was handing out bollockings to Luke Thomas from pretty much game one after goals, as if that's what he needed to help him mature into a senior player.

Knobhead who think's he's doing the club a favour every time he plays. Can't wait for him to go.

Anyone else think the timing of this announcement is more than a bit suspicious?

Has a deal been done already (somehow) to satisfy the Premier Leagues PSR demands.

Contracted players don't have these kind of come and get me statements put out unless the contract is going to be terminated, which clearly it isn't.

Do you think we've been told we have to sell to comply with something or other and this is the way the club is showing they are trying?

Anyway, out of all our 'assets' I'm pleased it's Faas. I think it's beneficial all round for him to move on. Don't gete wrong I'm thankful for his contribution. I just don't find him very likeable and hope we can find a better replacement or Nelson can step up.

It's not suspicious, it's January. His team is just letting people know he'd like to leave in the hope someone comes in now.

And it might work.

The only concern with this is this is the second time he has done a come and get me plea. AND we’ve said, yes please, no one’s coming.

please come, please.

I would expect our outgoings to be June transfers to be replaced in the next PSR period.

It's not like the club have put on the main site that we want to sell him. He's been told to look for a club and his agent has leaked that to the media. It's fairly common. More so now than it was a few years ago.

He cost circa £15m IIRC so book value will be between £6-7.5m depending how we treat the PSR write down in season. Therefore if we can recoup the £15m we paid for him we are will book a £7.5m to £9m profit for this seasons PSR which unlocks between £30m and £45m we can reinvest.

This is most definitely being leaked with a view to cashing in this month and trying to create additional opportunities to bring in incomings.

Am I the only one completely baffled by this PSR crap. All this 'book value', 'unlocking £xm if we make X amount of profit'. Such a load of crap. Scrap all the financial rules and just let us all slog it out again.

Any news on how long he's likely to be out for?
