Why are all these sports journalists more disgusted with Leicester, when our legal triumphs are negligible compared to what Man City are getting away with.  No one seems to talk about them.   It's a bit like Dave the plumber getting done for accidentally leaving a couple of small invoices off his tax return, whilst Starbucks pay no tax at all.

Starbucks do, thats old news.

About as incoherent as it gets. Firstly he keeps saying leicester 'evaded' sanction. Given LCFC legal team he should probably said 'avoided'.

Then, his main gripe seems to be that leicester has used legal representation to expose problems in the rules, which he hates.... until he said he was told to pay wages for a player who couldn't get a work permit and his lawyers sorted it out.... he is a cretin.

he moans about us, but he should be moaning and having a go at the FA/PL for not fully having their rules set in stones,

its more on them than anyone else

He doesn't even know what he's moaning about, he can't believe the decision that he doesn't understand or has any information on. But he's also sure it's wrong. Just a complete nob

But we haven’t broken any of the rules, so i’n sure how we are supposed to be responsible.

What do you mean?

We are responsible for keeping within the rules. It's why we've had to tighten the purse strings.

For balance most clubs outside of the top 6 have had to do the same.

The daft rules are designed to keep the big clubs compliant and the minions like us, forest, villa, everton, wolves etc etc scratting around

Stefan Borson says Premier League unlikely to win appeal against Leicester
Speaking on talkSPORT on Monday afternoon, Stefan Borson explained that the Premier League are unlikely to win their appeal against Leicester.

“I don’t think the Premier League should be appealing an appeal,” Borson said.

“The Premier League are now going back and saying we are going to appeal the appeal and the basis on which you can appeal an appeal is such a tiny window, it could not reasonably have been decided by anybody.

“What I’m saying is the Premier League have got to show that this is so outlandish, that decision by the appeal that found in favour of Leicester, so outlandish that nobody else could possibly have found it.

“I just think that’s extremely unlikely.”

If they win are we allowed to appeal the appeal of the appeal?

Even in our financial predicament we could have purchased/hired better players/manager. But the fear of false fear of failing PSR stopped us from doing so.

They get Borson more regularly who's an absolute lemon that peddles nonsense and takes no accountability when he's wrong. Either way its a brilliant listen atm. Simon Jordon is seething and just going on a rant :D

That just makes today's news even better!  Simon Jordan has hugely misplaced ideas of his own significance.

But that's because we were a ****ing mess in previous years?

We got off on a technicality. We should have failed PSR.

I'm not sure why people can't just face up to this.

Big clubs will always be able to spend more though, this helps prevent countries being able to come in and completely dwarf us.

Do you think it's a good idea for clubs to be losing to be running up hundreds of millions pounds of debt trying to compete with clubs that turnover 2 or 3 times more than them?

But we didn't, we were compliant with PSR - we just changed our accounting year end by a month.

It's like saying we nearly slipped in dog shit but we avoided it on a technicality. We still avoided the dog shit at the end of the day and it wasn't trampled through the house.

Well we did but got away on a technicality

That's a bit like saying "I got away with that parking fine on a technicality, because I wasn't in the car park at the the time."  If highly qualified legal experts say that the various league management committees had no jurisdiction to bring the charges, then so be it.  They can't change the rules, ( however poor), afterwards and then charge us.

I would say we stood in the dog shit but a lawyer advised that we change our shoes before we walk through the house.

Not sure what that means. I know the PSR rules are there to protect the big 6.

Most if not all clubs in the PL are backed by wealthy owners and are suffocated by the rules rather than their ability to keep a club solvent.

In that case are you pushing for the wealthy clubs to have their own competition, a bit like the European Super League, so that way they are in their own competition away from clubs like ours who can;'t compete.

Only speeding if law says you were. How does anyone know your speed if the radar gun wasn't calibrated?

In the LCFC case, the rules didn't say the club was in breach of PSR. Therefore, they were not. The commission were very clear on this.

This is why we’ll end up breaching it further down the line because 0 lessons have been learned and theres no accountability because we got off on a technicality.

Its good news for the short term but bad news for the long term in my opinion.
