Who sets the prices?

The home club.

Don't both clubs have to agree with these prices?

Nope. This is all on the home club and it’s basically what United charge their home fans now.

Our supporter in touch Family friendly club should have looked at those prices and thought as a gesture of good we will subsidise the price down to £10 !!!
So many positives for doing such a thing but sadly never going to happen!

Not condoning violence BUT anyone who pays £50 deserves a slap.

Never mind supporting the club, have some ethic

Both clubs have to agree cup prices with the home club usually leading the proposal. So if they’ve got tourists that will pay £X on a Friday night they’ll suggest we have to also for a similar view. Our club can challenge it of course.

Sadly I don’t even think we have to agree to it.

According the FA’s own rules, we can only challenge it/agree with it if they try to charge away fans more than home fans. Otherwise, whatever the home club wants is fair game.

Up to £62 for a 4th round cup tie between two bottom half Premier League teams in a stadium widely considered to be falling apart.

Incredibly appealing.

Everyone but Jim Radcliffe can agree on that! 👍🏻😅

Home club sets the prices. No agreement from the away club required. That was done away with in 2017.

I live near Manchester, but will be boycotting this. Scandalous from United.

So we've got 3,099 tickets at astronomical prices. Sure it would be better for both clubs & more importantly supporters if they gave us a full 15% allocation, approx 10,000 tickets at a third of the price they're asking.

They would still be getting the same amount in gate receipts & earning extra on food etc.while the presumably sold out away end would generate a better atmosphere.

I guess the the near 7,000 tickets we won't be getting will end up with United tourists.

ITV for this one.

I've already seen people claiming to be "loyal supporters" saying they'll be therelol

If spending over a ton watching this pile of crap on a Friday night qualifies you as a loyal supporter, then I’d better change my username.

"Only Leicester, Wolves and Southampton have lost more home games in the Premier League this season than the Red Devils."

May actually get a result 😬😁
