Read the articles from the most respected journalists who have managed to get beneath the surface of the way our football club runs and they've stated that Rudkin is the most trusted employee under Top.

So whilst what SHOULD happen with the way a CEO operates at a functional enterprise, we're led to believe that's absolutely not how Leicester are ran.

The amount of jobs Rudkin holds across the King Power operation speaks volumes too.

Because obviously a director of football of a prem football team is only a weekend job clearly. Otherwise how could he fit in all his other jobs?

Oh wait no it's meant to be full time? Rudkin must just be superhuman to be able to do all these full time jobs at once

Its just a case of perspective man, don't get angry with people you can't understand

Being over 40 I can remember the club being run much worse than this, on multiple occasions, and the current situation to me feels miles away from the board destroying the club view point that many have.

I think the board have done very well to get us straight back up, to find the likes of Fatawu, Mads, and Bilal, there's a clear pipeline of future money coming in from these kind of players.

They did well keeping hold of players like  kdh, ndidi, Ricardo when we did go down.

They consistently sell players for loads who are then rubbish at the new clubs.

Tielemans is perhaps the only sale who has increased in value since leaving us.

I'm not happy with the results, but again if Mads, Ndidi and Fatawu were fit I don't think we'd be in the league position we are.

We were best at transfers when we had Steve Walsh doing it, I remember thinking he's a wizard, putting that (2015) team together we have to keep hold of him for ever. Then he went Everton and every single player they bought was a joke, he was awful and now he's at Charlotte fc in mls so.

How on earth do we find a capable DoF? What does a good ones CV look like?

From my perspective all the current Premier league DoFs are w@nk, because they won nowt and haven't come close to mancity in the league, somehow we won the fa cup, our DoF found the characters capable of winning an FA cup!! That is mental.

When you think of all the other DoFs that have tried to win the FA cup over just the last 5 years, probably 30 prem ones in total, using football manage and Yscout looking for players capable of delivering silverware to their club. All of them fail every year.

I doubt Rudkin even has a FM save, and he did it, he found the formula.

The formula worked for the mammoth 46 game Championship season main issue back then was cardboard clappers, I'm not sure it was Rudkin who sorted that, but it got sorted, and the goal music, people didn't like that, also sorted, and we've trialled the SafeStanding area, and foxestrust let people into meetings that weren't direct relatives.

Do these things not indicate the club listen to fans, at least some of the time?

Not saying Board out brigade are wrong, not saying everything is fine either, but probably just that people like to moan is why you hear more of those opinions than the other. Bad news travels faster than good.

Should hope Tielemans has increased in value in relation to what he left for as he left for free ffs. Which kind of reiterates how shit we've been run

Where did you expect us to finish this season? We had one of the three worst squads in the league, so I expected bottom three but hoped for survival.
Since we got relegated I think we have made many good decisions along with a few bad ones. Which is normal in football. People have just far too obsessed with Rudkin bashing.
It’s embarrassing really being a Leicester fan at the moment. Not because of what’s happening on the pitch, but what happens off it. Hounding out managers and wanting them sacked before a ball was kicked in the season. Booing players during matches. Moaning about everything and anything about the club. Basically giving no help to the players to try and stay up this season and trying to run a club that’s not theirs to run.
We have no devine right to be a top 8 Premier League team.

An embarrassing reply back, what a joke our fans have become, I'm embarrassed that most people actually are  defending the club, where you one of them, clapping them  off on Saturday?, after that sh1tshow, I didn't boo but neither did I clap them either when thousands of mute fans where clapping when they came round.

No one expected us to be qualifying for Europe this season and most were quite happy just to stay up, but why are we back in that place where staying up is the best we can hope for? After finishing 5th twice and 8th?

huh, we expected a struggle this season, most fans thought that; we expect some sort of actual "effort" on the pitch too, as at times it feels like certain players just cant be arsed

many good decisions? please tell me more on them ones.....because i would say we've had more bad than good, like 60/40, Rudkin doesnt cover himself in glory when he rejects bid for players etc when we should have let said players go, like Iversen for one imo.then the inability to actual get deals done quickly too

think most fans gave Cooper a chance, but it was clear to see from about 3/4 games in he wasnt the right fit, booing the players is a so so, what are we meant to do? cheer when ward just flaps at saves with his chipstick wrists?

they arent absolved from criticism,

the club at times doesnt help itself with some of its decisions, lack of communication with fans. but i guess cos we was in league 1 14 odd yrs ago we should know or place?

football has changed, the club has changed,

as a business, the club isnt well run, for the shambles behind the scenes in terms of finance, any other place of business, a few people would have been sacked for it

there has been zero accountability from anyone at the club for the complete shambles we are in behind the scenes

and no we dont have any right to be a top 8 team, if you think we want that then frankly i'll have whatever your on, as most knew we'd struggle

It's not about results or League finishes as we knew this season was likely to be a struggle. It's about having a clear vision and identity as a club which has been missing ever since Vichai's passing.

People are sick and tired of the same mistakes being made by the club over and over again.

All of the “where do you expect us to be in the league table?” merchants, we’re not playing that game about league position.

Because we played that game a couple of years ago when we were somehow finishing 8th under Rodgers but looking appalling. Many of us were calling out the rot that what setting in but we were getting “What more do you want? We’re in 8th!”.

So we should have already learnt that position in a table does not tell the full story. People might not have expected us to be sitting pretty in the upper parts of the table, but they can still see when things are happening that will eventually catch up with us.

Albert Einstein once said..

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.

We seem caught in this loop.  I hope someone recognizes this and tries something different whilst we still have a slim hope of saving our season!

As others have alluded to, from the bits we hear about the business structure of the club, we aren’t run in a traditional fashion by British business / British football.

So the King Power Group is split into different Operating Divisions.

They’ve got:

1. Travel Retail

2. Retail

3. Dining

4. Hospitality

5. Consumer Products

6. Travel Experiences

7. Sport

8. CSR

https://corporate.kingpower.com/en/our-business/#sports

https://corporate.kingpower.com/en/king-power-revamps-new-strategies-in-the-past-3-decades/

I’d imagine Jon Rudkin operates within the sports division of the business and potentially reports directly into the head of the Sports business, rather than Leicester.

Susan Whelan in theroy does various jobs as she’s also listed as Senior Executive Vice President of King Power International Group Thailand and on the board of OHL.

I’m going to hazard a guess and say she’s Vice President of the Sports Business line.

It also says here that they welcome customer feedback its contact centre!

https://corporate.kingpower.com/en/contact-us/

I’d imagine the protests will fall

on deaf ears unless you’re blocking the shop and very turnstile, thus stop the tolls ringing!

Issues started a long time ago, that's why people moan about them.

We've our arms tied up with PSR yet we're spending 25m on Skipp.....

And my issue with that is people going “they’ve ****ed up again by failing Ruud by not backing him”. We haven’t failed again, the failures, the main failures were years ago. And us being very limited with our budgets are an off shoot of those.

What we did in the summer is again another argument. Which stretches deeper, in terms of our piss poor planning and letting a manager dictate total direction of the club and him wanting premier league players.

We all know we aren’t going to buy the best ones and they are expensive. So you end up with old players or you overpay.

Even forest have proved there's value out there if you do the right scouting. Brentford and Brighton two shining examples as well.

It's mistakes after mistakes with the same people in charge. You can't excuse it or blame the system when other clubs are thriving in the same conditions on smaller budgets. We're just badly run and a change is needed.

Exactly this - I’d struggle to find even those who are in support of the owner et al to argue against this. There is a clear lack of strategy with no evidence of counteracting the lessons learnt of the previous relegation.

The club had a number of decent options in front of them over the summer. You could invest in a manner much like last summer (young, prospect players - deals like El Khannous), you could have gone with the quality only idea of bringing in a new spine of 3 or 4 or backed your own squad supported by the younger players. Each have benefits and none are a golden bullet.

The main lesson learnt should have been that you sign every player with the idea that you are going to be able to sell them for more or that you can at least quickly sell them.

I really fear for the overall livelyhood for many connected with the club upon relegation. There’s a shift amongst the fans where I can see smaller crowds and the affects of reduced revenue leading to some tough decisions. The economy of a city already limping given a further hammerblow

And yet they sign Skipp for £25m and probably pay him a mint to sit on his arse……

The same catastrophic errors are being made now as they were previously.

Sander Berge went for the same fee. Had something the rest of squad doesn’t have.
