I live too far to vote my discontent by not going to games but I’ve spent a small fortune on merch and gear over the years. I can certainly put a kabosh on spending.

My only enjoyment comes from a pint or two (or three) and a sausage roll, that's literally the highlight of my day at the footy. Gone are the days of extracting anything else out of it. So I'll not be giving up those small pleasures any time soon..... Sad as it is.

This is the new form of democracy, vote with what hurts those in positions of power/responsibility, hit their bottom line, damaging their assets value.

The days of mass protests at events are dead, as fake news or selective reporting will render it irrelevant.

Trouble with this type of protest is that not requires massive coordination and discipline.

Do what makes you happy. Though I would argue you would get nicer, cheaper pints across the road - same could be said for Morrisons sausage rolls!

I hope that those not going wont resell their ticket...if they can afford to take the hit.  Empty seats might make them take notice.

I go with my uncle and my 10 year old son.

its actually a fight getting my son to go at the moment. Poor kid caught the bug towards the end of the season before we got relegated. The cracks were showing, but there were still positives - he saw madders score a free kick and immediately he was his favourite player.

first season as a Sth he saw us go down. He’s never felt the same since. If we are really honest, last season wasn’t great.

I keep renewing his ticket so he still has the option should the club get its act together. But as a result of the recent years, his seat is often empty. I don’t sell it in case he changes his mind last

minute and wants to go.

I never bought food but finished buying water at the ground several years ago. I stopped buying merchandise in Rodgers's last season. It's galling to see football tourists weighed down with merchandise, searching for their seats. I'm saving money and depriving the club in what is little more than a token boycott, but then I'm not the target audience anyway. We have to try, though.

It is a token boycott, which if only carried out by the few doesn’t have much impact. But at least we know we are doing the right thing for the right reason.

It's not really enough. You need to vote with your feet if you want to make a real impact.

Don't go at all.

If every season ticket holder is absent it's going to very quickly become embarrassing.

You scratching the match day revenue a bit is quite a lot less impact.

I have every match day Programme for the games I’ve been to. Although it’s essentially a preview I read it on the train on the way home after the match. Saturdays was full of bull about giving it all. Giving it all? What like the players strolling back as the second goal went in, not showing for the ball, not covering each other etc. I really don’t want to read or hear another word from them, all talk no substance. If I withdraw my fortnightly £3.50 it might halve our transfer budget I know but I’m tempted . Cliche cliche, 100% effort,  give it all, luck will turn, bla bla waffle waffle. Maybe run?? Maybe pick our best line up and keep them on?

I agree, but I am a genuine fan and would find it very hard not to go. I’m just being honest. I don’t want to go at the moment due to how bad things are, yet find myself sitting in my seat every game.

I normally buy kits for my kids, even though they are disgustingly over priced, but I've now started buying them off  "other" websites for a fraction of the price. It's not even the money I'm bothered about, like the op said, I'm not willing to give money to the club when it's being run so poorly.

Not been to a home game since Europa League against Moscow. Refuse to buy anything in the shop. No membership.  Do support the women’s team though so they get £45 quid off me for the season ticket.

Yet to go to an away game this season. A bit fed up tbh. Healthy to have some weekends I don't see the BS in perosn. Haven't bothered with any of the merch either this year
