Vacamion Posted 8 May 2025 Posted 8 May 2025 The time filling on the rolling news by the pundit, who not without reason is also a royal correspondent, is truly excruciating. 1

That’s properly pissing on Pope Francis’s grave. Eh? The news are banging on about how politically and ethically he's basically exactly the same as Francis? Edited 8 May 2025 by SecretPro

Vacamion Posted 8 May 2025 Posted 8 May 2025 Does it really matter which "wing" of the church he comes from? Bunch of senescent single dudes in costumes who propogate made-up mumbo jumbo about how the universe works, and whatever the politics, they will all continue to run a mile from accepting homosexuality (unless it's one of their pals in secret with an altar boy). I would call them actually holy and righteous if they were to sell their billions worth of art and property, take vows of poverty and feed and shelter the world's poor. Yeah, thought not... 4

Spudulike Posted 8 May 2025 Posted 8 May 2025 I think this could be the time that I finally give up red meat completely. Labelling must be improved so we know of its origins and also whether it's halal or kosher (which I will not eat).

Tbh though looking at it more simply, in terms of base value judgements if you're on the opposite side of them to people like Vance, then usually you're on the right side.
