Hamza getting involved with Burnley fans and having to be dragged down the tunnel by staff

Don't antagonise players. Go on and celebrate promotion, why go after players?Β

Give over. Coventry have lost 16 games and are in the playoff places. We'll be in the promotion mix.

Based on what? We have nothing Ayew?

If we are going to be anywhere near making a promotion push (which is far from a given), Leeds being promoted this season is a good thing for us. With the resources their owners are putting in, they'll only be stronger next season anyway.

Million times this.Β

If your first instinct is to go and attack some players instead of celebrate a victory then it's time to reevaluate your choices!Β

I'm sorry, I wasn't aware I'd expressed any strong opinion either way about a points deduction.Β Β

Maybe have me mixed up with someone else?

Yep, I have!Β

There's someone on here who shoots down any prospect of us getting one and I thought it was you. Apologies!

I am sure we are still a big team for players to want to join us if we can get some decent deal done early ( doubtful I know) .Β
Annoying that Leeds have gone up but reckon will be straight back down as well most likely all 3 that’s go up will beΒ

Based on the fact the Championship is utter garbage. You don't even have to be good to get promoted.

It’s a good job as by next season we won’t have any good players once Facundo, Bilal and Vards are gone we are ****ed.

Don’t know if it’s just me but with the way the playoffs are shaping up I’d absolutely love to see Bristol City go up. Can’t remember in my lifetime ever seeing them in the top flight and it’d be nice to see a new name have a crack at itΒ

He may well be poor most of the Championship is but as it stands we have no striker and the last move the clowns at the club did was bring in Eduoard to basically do **** all for 90k a week, so I’ve little confidence these ****tards will solve the problem if I’m honest!

I agree the eduoard deal was honking and we can’t start the season with Daka leading our line he’s brain dead! Big summer ahead we need 2 strikers in the door and they need to be bang on!

Exactly, they were less of a basket case than us IMO. Β I think we are in for a difficult few years, the chickens of ineptitude are coming home to roost. I expect to start on -15ptsΒ

They havent been promoted ?

Anyone thinking we will stroll to a top 6 finish next season needs to give their heads a wobble. We will lose probably all of the 2 or 3 players that are actually half decent and be left with overpaid garbage who won’t put a shift in in the championship.

Β

The double drop is a real possibility, especially with the powers that be at the club constantly thinking that everything is fine.

Exactly.

It's not beyond the realms of possibility that weΒ eventuallyΒ end up down there if we go two, three or four years without promotion, but the gulf between Premier League and Championship cuts both ways; if an outstanding Championship side can drown in the Premier League, than an absolutely wretched Premier League side can ace the Championship.Β

Β

Sheffield United were worse than us last season and conceded 104 goals, and started this season with a two point deduction, but are still bookies favourites to go up via the play-offs and sit in third. Luton are a bit of a freak, but it's highly unlikely that any of the three relegated sides go down the gurgler like them. All three will finish above 8th.

They've never played in the Premier League. Their last stint in the old First Division must be getting on for fifty years ago.

I think Sheff Utd weren’t as ****ed by PSR as we are though, I think we are in big trouble with that. Might be a challenge to bring in players, we may have to rely on the academy and whatever shit stays. Sheff Utd had Hamer. We will unlikely keep anyone either that quality.Β
