Nothing against Ipswich but it'd be funny as fxxk if they were to get battered in the replay and finish the season 7th on goal difference having conceded an extra couple of goals.

Don't think Coventry are any better than us overall in what is a shockingly low standard league.

The difference is they have players who can put the ball in the net.

Wright (7), Torp (5) and Thomas-Asente (4).

All we can offer is Fatawu with 2 goals.

Its shocking really and unless anything changes, theres not a hope in hell of getting out of this league.

And to think we had the usual bunch of brain dead giving it the "mind the gap" nonsense to Coventry only a matter of days ago.

They dont have two CBs who spend most the game passing between themselves, thats probably why they actually create chances. The system and playing Jordon Ayew as a striker clearly doesnt put the ball in the net

Agree with that, but you could put Daka in that coventry team and he would still be on 0 goals.

We don't create chances, and when we do, we have no ability to make them count.

The two things together are a recipe for failure. If you arent going to make many chances, you have to be clinical with the few you do make.

Bit of a contradiction this.

So they aren't better than us - but the difference between the two sides is that they've got better goal scorers?

That makes them better, no?

Bit of a contradiction there mate. If they've got players who can actually score, then they are better than us

Coventry highlighting how important it is to have goal scorers. When you look at our squad we don’t have the goal production numbers we need to push for promotion. We have to strengthen in January and get some proven goal scorers.

lol Yeah...can't really argue with that...I know what I meant!

I don't think that as a team, they are overall better than us. If we had just one striker who could finish, we would probably be sat where they are.

If that makes slightly more sense...:dunno: ..im giving myself a headache now.

All of a sudden I feel our game becomes must win. Some might say it is already after 4 draws in a row

It absolutely is. This run has been awful... against that calibre of opposition and a looming points deduction, we needed wins.

Hate to say any game is a must win but…this game feels like a must win. At least for fan and player confidence. I fear that if Marti doesn’t win this his days at the club may be numbered.
