Pretty funny all this coming out when the FA slaps a ban on Eckert managing next season.

This will definitely happen 😂😂

They need to pack in this "disproportionate punishment" rhetoric.

They had the result of one game overturned and will start next season on -4 points. That is it. They're only crying because they decided to cheat to gain an advantage to get  place in the biggest game of the Championship season. It's their fault.

Frankly I think their punishment is lenient. They should have a bigger points deduction for next season. 4 points for every game they cheated on which would be a -12. Not enough to condemn them to relegation but it would make automatic promotion almost impossible.

The worst thing is that they would still have had to beat Hull whom they all seem to think would have been a certainty (maybe it would if they had access to Hull's training plans too).

If you think about it all that has happened is the league has decided that they effectively lost the match they cheated over. The fact that happened to be a play off semi final is irrelevant. Being given a 3-0 defeat for cheating in a match would seem fair.

Rovers fans absolutely furious. Venkys are some bad owners

Jordan James has apparently started following Wolves on Instagram. I know we have an interest in him after his performances for you last season.

I bet Rennes will be asking at least £10-15m for him now though. When does his loan contract with you expire, is it 1st July?

We've just signed Kieran Trippier and apparently Raul Jimenez has agreed to come back and play for us. Both excellent signings in the Championship IMO. Both 35 now but still too good for this league.

Sounds like you could do with James to bring your average ages of signings down to something below pension age

What length of contract have they both been given? Anything more than one year and if you fail to go up, they'll be crap signings

2 year deal for both. Which I think is fine. 12 months is unrealistic nowadays.

We have an option of a 3rd year with Jimenez.

Within 48 hours, one of those two will be the World Cup leading scorer !

Imagine they're on a fair whack, banking on coming straight back up?

Yeah they'll still be on big wages, but I imagine the fact they were both free transfers makes the total cost over the contract fairly manageable.

Both quality leaders will help get you back first time and be great squad players when your back up!

Yes but would McKenna just not quit then and without a reason like he has.

Yeah he's declared that he wants to spend some time with the family. He's not taking another job, I don't think this summer

Even if he didn't want to take time out from football, why would he want to take the Fulham job, other than for financial means. What could he possibly achieve there that hasn't been already? They've hit a ceiling and won't be winning any trophies or playing in europe.

If I were him I'd probably do the same and get out while his stock is high and before Ipswich get relegated again, and wait for a more attractive job to come round than Fulham.

That's Ipswich fuxxed then.

Doesn’t matter who’s in charge, I think they’ll go down.

A new voice with a new idea on recruitment could fare better than they did last time, in fairness.
