WBA got fined £30k for crowd disorder and fighting by the FA. The West Brom players weren't happy either and went over to the crowd as it kicked off in the family sections where their families were getting abuse.

Some of their fans also got on the pitch. I mean, just look at the state of this muppet.

I also like the fact that his scarf makes it look like he's wearing a ridiculous top hat.

Did he play for West Brom in 2016? He could be in the opposition on Saturday.

He reminds me of that nutter with the bell at Pompey. Probably just as many brain cells.

Womp Womp

They're where we were in 2023/24 only we got the stay of execution by getting promoted and this lot ****ed it.

When they sack the manager and the players start to revolt it could go very sour very quickly.

Wow Southampton could be in bother in the next couple of years.

I really can’t see past Wolves, West Ham and Burnley to go back up. Wolves have been aware for a while and have a manager in place who will do well. Burnley are specialists but at some point yo-yoing you can become unstuck I guess. And West Ham feels quite like when Newcastle came down a couple of times and went straight back.

I doubt the 4 point deduction will cause them to go down like it would still have for us as we are next level incompetent. But if this financial stuff results in any further deductions next season they could go down.

Burnley will depend on recruitment. I suspect someone will take Esteve but they need to find a new manager.

West Ham will win the league at a canter. Obviously they'll lose a few big hitters like Bowen, Summerville and Fernandes but their squad is generally good enough to breeze that league. Especially considering they've confirmed that Nuno will stay.

I'm not sure about Wolves. Yes they've known they're down for a long time but I'm pretty sure they're in financial bother and don't exactly have too many players of high value. Joao Gomes will go for a fair wedge but other than that I'm not sure. But I really don't rate their manager. I know he did well at Luton and did alright at Boro but I'm not sure I'd trust him for their rebuild. Their fans don't rate him either.

I think the 2nd automatic spot is well up for grabs for a club on the up. Wouldn't surprise me to see Wrexham have a big summer and get it.

Big ask for Milwall to go again IMO. Especially if Femi Azeez gets nicked which I suspect he will.

IMO it looks like a very easy league to get out of if you're organised, have a harmonised squad and a competent manager.

It’s always an unknown for all the sides coming down but the 3 this year look collectively way ahead of us, Southampton and Ipswich.

I agree though. Even Burnley, just because they have bounced up and down, doesn’t mean they will again. Norwich being the prime example,

But I do think Wolves could do well. They were such record breaking levels of bad in the first half of the season, since the New Year, they’ve actually been alright I think?

But otherwise, if you’re looking past the 3 who have just come down, you would look at sides who came down before and still have an edge. But Southampton are in a mess hence the original post and we are already flushed out the other end and on the way to League 2.

So like you say, Wrexham? Birmingham if they get rid of the fraud Davies? Sheffield United are a mess. Norwich maybe. I can’t see the sides who came up from league 1 doing much of note. Bolton will need to settle back it (kind of like Charlton), Cardiff are still crap and Lincoln are probably still rubbing their eyes!

Then you have perennial failures like Blackburn, Middlesbrough, Bristol City, QPR, Stoke etc.

Not saying relegation but I think Wolves could be similar to us. A lot of things change over the summer so a long way to go yet, mind. I don't rate Edwards that highly as a manager, took Luton up from that level but they were well built by Nathan Jones.

I’m probably missing a few really obvious examples but always feels like it never works when managers jump ship in similar scenarios to this

I.e. like Maresca?

massive loss for Lincoln and big coup for Bristol City id say

I understand wanting a more established club but not Bristol. They are hardly patient.

Was thinking more EFL teams. Didn’t Bloomfield leave Wycombe who were near the top for Luton who ended up getting relegated?

99% certain that if we'd have stayed up he would've been here.

Would've been great but not really our style so I'm not sure that's true

Don't really like that move to be honest. Bristol City are perennially midtable. It's a step up but enough of one to really justify a move I'm unsure. Lincoln are a smart club.
