I'm no fan of Awey but he's miles better Mav.

I didn't think we played too bad. It's a shame and tbh it's not a game we are expecting to take points usually.

One thing worth keeping an eye on.....Mads' wonder saves seem to have been left on the injury table.

Has no chance with either goal otherwise he’s had no save to make.

Imagine sitting through over 7 and a half hours of football, losing them all without even scoring!

it’s indefensible

Can anyone remember how to celebrate a goal .... that is a goal for us

I think the first was something he might have a better go at if it's earlier in the season.

Since he's been back I can't remember a save he's pulled off !

But a game is 90 plus minutes.... so 10 plus minutes of not being solid ... there's the result

perhaps I should have bolded the '80'

its hard to know if even the 80 is an achievement against a side that was largely inept at attacking

Decent first half but if you don't score goals you don't win matches. We lack quality it's plain to see. Best thing about the game was the loud rendition of "we want Rudkin out"

identical chances Merino did Ndidi didn`t

Vardy didn`t turn up, we didn`t really create anything and slack defending at the end is the story of a poor game

Fought hard so no complaints there, Coulibaly had a decent cameo but Vards is a shadow of his former self and no proven goal scorer to step in.

Lack quality in key areas unfortunately.

Good effort, occasional flashes of good play, it looks like we have more direction than under Cooper, but we need more oomph up front and we are probably still heading down.

It's worse because there was actually a bit of hope starting to emerge before they scored.

Cooper managed six PL home games. We scored in all 6. It still baffles me that RvN gets compared to him favourably.

Vardy offering absolutely nothing.

Needs dropping.

Sorry to say but I hope he's not here next season. It's like he's holding back the club from bringing in a decent striker. We can't continue with him being the first choice striker to only score once every 6 or 7 games. Time to hang ye boots up, son.

He was pretty lively, I thought, considering it was hardly a game for the strikers. The commentators rightly pointed it out. I have no idea why people keep feeling the need to single him out as a major problem for us, given the clearly very major problems we do have on display. The lack of meaningful cover/competition for him is a huge issue. Not him.

"80 minutes of looking solid". Pity the game is 90 minutes long!!

Very true .... with how things are being monitored... you need to have the mindset of playing for at least 95 minutes

Daka presses much better and frees up room for others around him and can sustain the running into channels for a lot longer than Vardy now.

It’s also rare seeing Vardy get away from defenders these days.

Our general play is much better with Daka up front (even though he’s still a Plonker)

Do we really think a different manager gets a different result there? The players are still playing for him and it’s no surprise we’ve looked more solid since Ndidi has come back in. We just lack quality - admittedly he does need to find a way to get Facu into the team (in place of BDR would be the obvious answer).

The only game plan we seem to have is not to concede a goal, but once we do, we have no plan. Going forward it's all half hearted like we don't expect to get anything out of it. We have become a team without heart or soul. Ndidi was only player that looked decent today, but he will go at the end of the season, I can't blame him if he did, I'm sure there are better opportunities for him than playing championship football again.

A lot aren’t going to like it, but game changed when we brought Ayew off for Mavididi.

No-one else in the position is there? Presumably JJ out for a while.

you mean when we decided to gamble and attack? yea, that does tend to leave you open. Ayew was better than he has been granted, but he still offers nothing

Sadly we're in a place where we're damned if we do, damned if we don't.

The 11 today with Ndidi and Okoli today was so much more solid looking, but you lose any ability to progress the ball consistently, and your main hope is to rely on making the most of counter attacks. But we're countering with dad's army.

Then if you play Vestergaard and Winks, we can enjoy more fruitful spells in possession and look to sustain pressure more, but we're so much more vulnerable defensively.

Whichever one of those you choose, we've failed to recruit well enough to play either one of those styles well enough to be a successful side.
