Yes it is.

It's also miraculously during the worst PR week for them with major broadcasters picking up on fan dissent.

"People are saying we're bad owners, break out the philanthropy".

People who are in need will benefit so this isn't a complaint, but let's not kid ourselves on its reason or timing

Yeah don’t disagree. This is them doing the proper thing. Have to be consistent with it though. Big test comes with ticket prices soon

Just got an email from Foxes Trust about a ticket pricing survey, the responses of which they will feed back to the club...

yep, something I’ve personally led to be candid. Want to make a position clear in preparation of any announcement etc.

There is a club consultation session on ticketing in March

Charitable acts have never been an issue, they have always done way more than we could ever wish for.

It's competent running of a football club that we could do with

Well at least they're being consistent - I have no email.

Again.

Yeah no disagreement with that either.

Just think we need to distinguish when something is positive - that two local charities are going to be exposed to global coverage is good news, I’m happy for them more than anything

They think we're thick.

You are thick if you think that:

A. This has anything to do with that so called protest on Saturday. What ever you think of them king power has given millions to local causes long before people decided to show their anger by.... walking to the ground like a normal match day lol https://moodiedavittreport.com/leicester-city-f-c-and-king-power-chairman-makes-1-million-donation-to-leicester-hospitals-charity/

B. Even if we follow your logic that 300 people walking to the ground  mingling in with normal fans not singing has shamed them into charity pr work (which they do every year anyway) it's a lot of work to do 2 charity partnerships in 3 days I think you are underestimating how much work contractually etc goes into one of these!

The running of the club over the last 4 years and the lack of transparency should very much be up for scrutiny and debate. King powers commitment to local causes should absolutely not be in my opinion.

First Andy King, now this. They're right into hearts and minds mode.

Tomorrow, they'll probably announce that for every 100 tickets sold, they'll help one old lady cross the street.

As benevolent and public spirited as it is maybe the club could see their way to having a few fans days and I don't mean donuts just a bit a respect, consideration and maybe even admiration for continuing to support the club through thick and thin.

lol

The deflection game is top notch to be fair.

3 positive bits of PR in a week.

Imagine they didn't need their names to be dragged through the mud for them to do positive things.

We need a sweepstake for what the next announcement will be :D

Free hat/t-shirt for every fan going to a specific away game.
