The apathy towards LCFC, the owner, Rudkin, Ruud and also the players is clear to see on here.  

 

 

I know FT is a microcosm of the wider fan base, and potentially there’s fewer match going posters on here than there are non matching going fans (myself included these days)

 

Given last night, and today’s results all but confirming our relegation, when are folk finally going to cave and simply stop going to the games? Or a mass walk out

 

I know our fans are largely passive (putting it nicely) but when is enough going to be enough to the point where people start voting with their feet?

 

We’re always losing, we can’t even score a goal, the players don’t care, Ruud is clueless, Top and Rudkin even more so.

 

It’s not enjoyable for you is it? It’s a habit? Go down the pub with mates instead, take your kids/partner out. Take up golf!

I get the sentiment entirely. 

 

However. 

There is still a small part of me that gets excited a day before a game and allows me to foolishly believe we might just string a couple of results together and somehow have half a chance of survival. It's a case of allowing the heart to rule the brain.

Yesterday was a perfect example. As the day went on, I convinced myself that we would play well under the lights, Ruud would have Frank's number tactically and we'd somehow steal it. Also thought that Bournemouth would inflict Wolves with a four-goal spanking and all of a sudden we'd have half a chance. As I walked in last night, I looked at the starting lineups and was hopeful. In fact, I convinced myself that I "just knew" this was the night that the second Great Escape would begin. 

As it turns out, we were the ones getting spanked and Wolves won. 

As I said, it's purely a case of allowing the heart to have a say in things. I detest Rudkin and the way the club is being run. I have no time for the happy clappers – and I've told a few so in person. Including last night, when someone came up with the "but we were League One not so long ago" line in the pub when discussing the protest. 

Fact is my brain has already resigned to the inevitable and is already looking forward to next season and: 
a) Getting rid of some dead wood
b) Seeing some of our youth players being given a chance
c) Actually scoring some goals and winning at least a few games 
d) Maybe, just maybe, Rudkin losing his job. In fact, ALL his jobs he holds with KP. Sod him. He's a twunt. 

But my heart still overrules my brain 24 hours before a game and I find myself "knowing" we will pull something off. This will no doubt happen until it's mathematically impossible for us to stay up.

Moved away last year so the decision was pretty much taken out of my hands......don't miss "the matchday experiance" at all,so many other things to do......just about finding something you actually enjoy.

I’ve transitioned seamlessly from LCFC to golf. Even as a 24 handicapper (summer card, tough course 😒) I find my golf lets me down less than City

I was shocked last night at how many are like this. I mean it’s been obvious forever, but in moments like this it becomes more clear and it’s so alarming. I suggested to folk behind me last night that we need a change of ownership and a total refresh, and the response was something like “I’ve seen worse than this down here, and be careful what you wish for - look at Cardiff when that owner changed the colour of the kit…” With people like this, as a fan base, I’m tempted to say what we’re seeing is what we deserve!

I'm the sort to go whatever the results and don't believe you should give up if it's not going your way, but this is different. The club has completely given up and with the whole treatment of fans including ticket prices, I'd be quite happy having my ticket go to waste to try and prove a point. I don't blame anyone for walking out early at the moment.

This is the correct way to protest, unfortunately Foxestalk is such a small fraction of the match day numbers that it’s like throwing a deckchair off the Titanic.

Yeah...I went down last night from Amble(Northumberland)...8 hour round trip....not just to see city,but it fitted in with doing other things.....gonna concentrate on my Sea Fishing now which I love and not be so bothered about football!

I’m going to try and sell my seats as many times as I can to get money back in my pocket, sadly the club makes MORE when this happens. But I’m not going back until we’re down or RvN goes - whichever is first.

Take the financial hit. Empty seats speaks far louder than an alternative bum filling a seat (even though KP hate you sharing your ticket privately)

There’s only 2 more times I can do it. And no, I’m not paying out of my pocket to teach rich people a lesson. It’ll make no difference.

 

Yesterday didn’t sell; and I didn’t go. And I see that happening A LOT.

A lovely part of the world and worth being well away from Leicester for! 
 

Only in South Yorkshire myself but even so, to go to Leicester is a big part of the day (if you’re going for football). I stopped many years ago as I prioritise other areas of life. 
 

My next door neighbour is a Rotherham STH and you’ll see him heading out at 2.30 and back at about 5.15. If it’s been a trip just for the game and not social either side. That would be a lot better for me as I do value doing family stuff at weekends.

 

So yeah, zero desire to go back to attending ever really.

I love my club and never ever thought I would say this but I honestly hope wolves win midweek and we get beat.  It's the hope that is killing me and I just want put down like an end of life dog that is suffering.  Supported my club for over 50 years.  Been through lots of bad times including that day at stoke but never felt this much anger and frustration at the whole board from Top down.  I would rather be in the premiership but let's be honest clubs like us are not welcome hence PSR etc to protect the so called big clubs facing relegation.  I want people that care and know what they are doing in charge of my club.  I would not say I want rid of KP but think Top needs to look in the mirror, realise he ain't got the balls to run the club and appoint somebody that has.....obviously that will not happen.
