Tbf it’s about time Ruud got his own back room staff in.

I would have agreed with that a month ago.

However, results and new (unwanted) records being set suggest otherwise.

We’re getting relegated and Ruud has shown no signs that he’d do a Maresca and turn the slump around next season.

One of Ruuds staff is a GK coach anyway, so seems pointless having two. When I read 'double exit' I was hoping it was going to be Rudkin&Glover. We can only dream!

RVN’s future depends on the West Ham game. If by some sort of miracle we win, then he stays. If we lose then he goes and the new man with his own team I suspect we have already lined up will be appointed. With the FA Cup weekend it allows more time for a new man to sort it.

Cant share your optimism bud (if optimism it be), heard this "he's gone if we dont win" too many times.

We have I'd suggest a less than 1% chance of winning - if they have 2 men sent off in the first 10 mins - but he wont be sacked when we lose, if he is to be sacked this result is irrelevant compared to the utter failure in the previous games.

We've done a bit of an internal review, realised these 2 are the only reason we're in the position we are. Makes it appear to everyone as the club are taking action. Yet still overlooked the issue that rudkin is the main problem.

I was hoping for King Power and Rudkin

Maresca had a better squad.

Cooper has actively made us worse.

RVN hasn't been able to do anything because he hasn't been given anything of note to work with.  No manager is turning this squad of players around.  Sooner this is accepted, the better.

We were always going down from the moment Cooper took his Shrewsbury Town interview during pre season.  Damage was already done then as it was two years ago when Rudkin decided not to replace Schmeichel.

Disagree with this. Maybe the ONLY positive thing coaching wise about this season is that defensively on set pieces, we have been pretty good. If we were as bad as we were in 2022 this time round, we might be chasing Sheffield United's most amount of goals conceded in the league record. We kept Arsenal at bay recently through clever coaching, IE using our short players to block Gabriel's runs, so that our physical players could respond to him if the ball made it that far.

Offensively, our set pieces have not been great, but we don't really have any players that are good at taking them. El Khannouss you'd think would be, but the results show otherwise. And we actually have scored some set pieces, Vestergaard agaisnt Fulham, Ayew with the last minute winner against Southampton.

Stever Cooper was a bad appointment, but hiring this guy and restoring Soumare to the first team were IMO good decisions in the context of the trainwreck that is this campaign.

Spent so much time on that we decided to not bother with defending during open play 😂

The last remnants of the Cooper regime - except for Andy Hughes, the Set Piece Coach (though given how effective our Set Pieces are, I'm amazed he hasn't also gone).

Obviously, Ten Rouwelaar will pick up the Goalkeeping Coaching (I'm surprised he hasn't done already) and Kingy will do Dawson's job (can't do much worse). And it's obviously set up nicely for just two Dutch sackings in the summer! Barry-Murphy and AK to take the helm?!

Sorry but that is way too generous on Ruud.

Losing and not scoring at home in six games yet still rolling out Ayew, Reid and Vardy is criminal.

Ruud has no management pedigree nor worked closely with managers who do (Enzo under Pep) so can’t see why anyone thinks that Ruud is exempt from criticism.

Or more accurately, pick up the pieces!

I agree about Barry-Murphy and King being our new Championship Management team though. Hopefully, with a bit more support than RvN has had.

The same QPR who are 14th in the Championship with a GD of -3?

Happy to be proven wrong (I originally liked the Ruud appointment) but do you genuinely believe that he would see us challenge at the top of the Championship based on his time here?

I think the rot has well and truly set in personally.

Does he genuinely think this? As you say a club mouthpiece indeed.

It has never been the club's style for those at director level to speak publicly, they remained quiet even when Leicester lifted the Premier League. None basked in the glory then so it would be wrong to say they are hiding in the shadows now.

Haha this has to be a wind up right? We won the league for the first ever time and the owners carried the trophy round the pitch with a photo of the Thai king being held up behind them.

Can tell it's a PR piece by this sentence:

"A planned protest, labelled Project Reset, failed to catch on"

Every other media outlet described it positively, neutrally or explained the reason why.

Except this saves us no money as we still have to pay off their contracts.
