Ferguson recommended Moyes for the Man U job and it didn’t work out. Moyes has proven over his career that he is a good and proven Premier League manager. The debate surrounding King is he could be an outstanding manager but dropping him in at the deep end, in the utter shit show pool that is LCFC, would imo be a bad move for King’s future managerial development and not help the club. He is quite rightly a legend at the club, I would hate to see that well deserved status tainted by giving him, even temporarily, an impossible job. 2

Article is from football podcast that Lineker did Dyche quoted that, then when asked by Lineker. Has nothing to do with our vacancy, RVN was still in post then. Liverpool Echo and Leicester mercury just re hashing an old story. 2

Foxdiamond Posted 27 June 2025 Posted 27 June 2025 Whoever we get looking at player contracts a period of stability vital and this time next year very interesting as some of the players most criticised time up assuming we can't get rid for money before

AjcW Posted 27 June 2025 Posted 27 June 2025 Dyche and Woan wont come cheap either will they. I bet Rohl £1m plus his and staffs wages could even work out less than those two!
Popular Post kingfox Posted 27 June 2025 Popular Post Posted 27 June 2025 From a style of play perspective, Rohl is a no brainer. Very much like when Will Still became available, we were handed an open goal, for whatever reason our situation stopped that from possibly happening, now we’ve been handed pretty much another open goal, if we let this one slip, then it’s yet more evidence that we’re run by idiots. 8

Who would you want if we don’t get Rohl?
Aleksz Posted 27 June 2025 Posted 27 June 2025 Pedersen (the one that was linked to come here with Martin) is favourite to get the job as Rohl's replacement so I can't imagine he'd come. Love the idea of Chrissy P making a return though. 1

PaulW Posted 27 June 2025 Posted 27 June 2025 (edited) Whoever it is to be, for ****'s sake level with him! Let him know what the board genuinely expect in terms of points deductions etc., and what monies (if any) will really really be available. Edited 27 June 2025 by PaulW
Nickaj Posted 27 June 2025 Posted 27 June 2025 I'm not convinced by either Dyche or Rohl quite honestly, neither particularly suited to our current situation so far as I can see. Do we really find ourselves in the position of appointing the least worst option? Perhaps someone could recommend some European up and coming manager that none of us have ever heard of - that potentially at least would be more exciting

teblin Posted 27 June 2025 Posted 27 June 2025 See Dyche is odds on every where, but not sure that means anything.
