And no, apart from those two I've no idea who else might be in the frame but I suspect that the article in today's copy of Thailand's The Nation - if it becomes widely read - won't make thins any easier.

Isn't he known for playing a style best suited to what he has. I'm not a Dyche expert but are we judging him on his firefighting stints at Premier league Burnley and Everton?

I think Rohl isn’t on that list or noise (which is still very quiet than usual) doesn’t exist if he isn’t in the running. Possibly our first choice. However, the way we do things Dyche has been interviewed too. 
 

Honestly, I can get behind either. If I had a preference, perhaps Rohl but that is simply because his impact when he first arrived at Wednesday he is someone who seems to be inspire players and that’s a big thing with young players we have coming through. 
 

Dyche who I know is not the fashionable option is still a very good manager at this level and if we did do the unthinkable and went straight back, you’ve got to feel confident having him at the helm. He is a manager which is something we haven’t had for a year with dumb and dumber. 
 

Both have history of working in extremely difficult circumstances and succeeding. Another huge point for us. 
 

It’s a weird split though. No real sense of what our image is. Two very different targets but it’s not a bad two to be front runners for our lot.

well he took Burnley up, but that was what a good number of years ago, it wasnt like it was 2/3 years ago

even with the players he'd got he still didnt play football we would, look at Everton, Moyes took them to a different level playing a different way

 

Dyche isnt the right option for us, a number of factors show that imo

Also, on Dyche, whether he is best for the youth coming through, in the season he came up first time with Burnley, he had Ings and Trippier both relatively up and coming. 
 

Old school manager perhaps but if there is talent, he will play them.

I would be concerned if one of our potential promotion rivals appointed Dyche. His teams are always awkward, difficult to beat and we know it will be a tough, dour match when ever we play them. Not a cool manager but effective. Very pragmatic and professional.

Slightly worrying trend now - Dyche coming in (2/5 from 1/2), Rohl going out (7/4 from 6/4). I know, "slight betting changes, don't indicate significant news", but I still don't like it.

Hopefully, there'll be some more positive updates on Rohl this week.

Dyche coming in would signify the strength to which Rudkin still has and yet if our fans get our own way and Rudkin is forced out (hopefully when Top has to sell us in the very near future) then it will prove what an unnecessary appointment that will likely require a further managerial change within a year.

 

There's so many reasons to be fearful of Dyche coming in but the alliance with Rudkin is more pungent than his football he implements.

Being professional is the basic requirement of any person employed to do a job tbf. Dyche wasn’t very effective in his last job at Everton. Moyes utilised the same squad job to be miles better than they were under Dyche.

spot on, 

bet some of our fans calling for Rudkin to go are also the ones wanting Dyche in, falling to see the fact the 2 are good friends as well

its got pure disaster all over it in that sense, as Rudkin will give his mate alot longer if he has a bad spell

also kinda throws what theyve been doing with the youth teams in the bin too, in playing a bit of a possession based style

Damien Duff just resigned as Shelbourne manager in the Irish League, probably the most unlikely candidate considering the league he's been managing but he may get linked like everyone else.

We don't have a pot to p,so in.  We will not pay for a managers release so will be either RVP or Dyche for 1 season contract but not convinced he will accept that unless there or achievement bonuses included.

Of course they don't. We don't' leak anything anymore. They are more than likely educated guesses, but may turn out to be true. It's not rocket science, Ruud is clearly OUT in July and Dyche and Rohl are the two most likely names as it stands.

In fairness, Nixon was bang on about us last summer. Adamant it was cooper. The first to say that  cooper wanted prem proven players and called ayew very early. 
 

on all 3 things people cried out that he didn’t know anything. He definitely has a source. 
 

The only hope is that the article says dyche is favourite and not that it’s a done deal.
