If it's Dyche I'm not attending/watching any game next season. It will be the final straw. I didn't want Cooper and RVN, I can't deal mentally with another wannabe manager.

Mate you are very odd, if you will not support your club if we chose dyche? I’m puzzled? With what position we are in,  like I have said before “WE ARE NOT GETTING MUCH BETTER”! I’m bedazzled by some on here who still think we are a great attractive club for a manager! We are not, I honestly think dyche is the very best we could get considering our circumstances!! Oh and no it’s not Shaun before any of you divs ask 🤣

Yea but your not grasping that we are on a downhill  spiral and are so limited with the level of manager we could bring in

Right, so our board is looking at Rohl and Dyche at the same time?

Just confirms to me they're utterly clueless, two coaches who couldn't be more different from each other. Our board genuinely doesn't know what they want themselves.

This is an oft repeated criticism here and I think it's a little harsh.  We have to choose a manager from a vanishingly small list of candidates and one that we think has the best chance of delivering success.  Why narrow our parameters to follow a rigid dogma?   We don't have that luxury.  Just get the best man for the job.

Nixon doesn't say its Dyche, just that he is favourite.

It’s amazing how many Leicester fan accounts on X have missed this basic point. The only new bit in Nixon’s story is his claim that RVN will be sacked on 1 July (which most people would have expected anyway). He then pads the article out by rehashing a previous story from six weeks ago which stated that Dyche was in the frame. But it seems lots of people have honed in on the rehashed bit and are treating it as a new story…

Exactly, but you can also see them doing for clickbait and appears to be working based on what I’ve seen on my feed. Sad but not surprising how people are missing the detail.

Actually - i've always found this a difficult one to get my head around. He did get Forest promoted, but he was the luckiest bugger in the world with how it happened - it wasnt a 'proven' nailed it promotion. And he was a lucky getting them to stay up the following season (they played and beat Arsenal the game after they fell out of title contention ffs).  And he was lucky for us as well. Our luck all dried up the day he went. I hated watching us play under him, but do still wonder if he would have lucked us through the season somehow. Doubt it.

Hes so lucky i wouldn't be surprised to find out he's banging Maya Jama.

youth a chance

Posted numerous tables from Transfermarkt that is littered with the evidence. Every season at Burnley and Everton, Dyche always shows up on the oldest squad, oldest starting 11 list.

Tarkowski, Mee, Keane, Collins, Branthwaite were all under 24 when Dyche played them.

But I think we all know by now what he will also do if appointed.

Instead of 1-2 experienced signings, it will probably be 4-5.

Think it will be Rohl or someone similarly young and driven, just don’t see us going for Dyche, would be a PR disaster that the club just can not afford right now, need someone marketable to try to bring back some of the sales they have lost

Giving youth a chance and really buying into that is the only way for us to be sustainable. I club of our size it really is the only way forward. When will they ****ing learn.

You have seagrave now ****ing use it.

I’ll go as far to say that unless you are in the top 8, with PSR in its current state, youth is the only sustainable way build and survive.

Dyche is not the answer. Would that Burnley team survive in thr prem now. It wouldn’t and it didn’t.

@kingfox forget Dyche for a minute, looks like Lisci and Mirandes have ****ed the second leg of the playoff final, get him in.

Have you had their scores on notification ever since you discovered him? 😂

Do people really think at Burnley Dyche was in a position to blood youth players? Gonna take a wild stab in the dark and say they don't have the best academy in the world. He had to bridge the gap between quality by getting the absolute maximum from that squad. You don't do that by trying out youth.

Likewise at Everton, he just about kept his head above water and had their shittest squad for ages. Moyes has taken over and got a bounce, granted. But not a chance that first season he could have risked youth.

These situations are a lot more nuanced than the lazy assesments fans give.
