It was African media hyping up an African player. It means absolutely nothing and happens daily.

2 goals and 1 assist in the league, the numbers just aren't there for a club to pay what we'd need for him.

1 less goal contribution than Wes Morgan in 14/15, for context.

Nobody is buying Bilal.

Agreed.

I also doubt this assumption that big clubs will be queuing up for Mads.  We know how good he is but we have conceded 65 goals which will be 80 - 90 by the time we've finished.

Hopefully we can get actual money for the likes of Choudhury, Faes and Okoli.

If we are going to have a clear out we need a DOF to start rebuilding the team. He needs to start now so Rudkin needs to go and new DOF start now

One of them keepers will get a new contract. No chance we go into the season with one fit first team keeper.

No, you get rid and look around Scandinavia/Belgium or league one/two for a good young goalkeeper to be a no.2 for Jakob.

You'd imagine Danny Ward will drive away from Seagrave at 120mph the moment his last training session ends and will probably never set foot in Leicestershire again. Iversen needs to play somewhere and he isn't going to get that with us, so he'll be off.

Bilal, Fatawu and Alves/Mav are a formidable attacking three in the championship.

We're not too far away from a decent Championship side, new striker, CM to go with Skipp (get the rest out), and a a fullback.

Gives us something like

Jakub

New FB

Okoli

Nelson

Thomas

Skipp

New CM

Mavididi/Alves

Bilal

Fatawu

New ST

Only immediate area of concern is experience at CB but both of them have ability and physical power to get themselves out of most situations so I wouldn't be too bothered.

We're going to need a striker though, absolutely key to get someone who turns out half decent as we're going to be desperately short.

(Apart from Mads)

None of our players are worth what we will inevitably be asking for them. We are dreamers.

Most of them will be here next year, I'm sure of it.

Why would Ward want to do that, where else would have given him 50 bags a week to **** about in training. I bet he’d stay here for 5k a week cause he certainly won’t get that anywhere other than here

I've got a feeling he's gonna end up back at Wrexham next season lol

I’d be very surprised, their current gk is better (obviously) and I can’t see them spunking what he’d want in wages on a back up

A sensible manager/DOF obviously wouldn't sign him.

However, the alure of signing an ex premier league keeper who came through their academy. He's a promotion winning keeper for Huddersfield who saved 3 pens in the final.

This is the kind of stuff that they'll absolutely eat up, perfect for the documentary :p

Hermansen and possibly BEK to be sold for profit purposes

One of coady/Vestegaard, one of Ayew/BDCR, +  Faes, Wilf, Daka, Soumare, Kristiansen, Justin and Ricardo to go.

Can see Souttar going to Sheff U and maybe Okoli heading out on loan

We'll hardly make a profit on BEK. Pointless selling him. Even Hermansen will probably bring in less than people expect.

Agree on Hermansen, I think we get 20-25 if lucky.

Believe we spent £20m on Bilal, could see him going for £30m if we got a couple of clubs interested

We are stuck with Ayew and BDCR and Vesty. People need to come to terms with that.  We gave them 3 year contracts (I think?) And no one is going to pay them enough for them to want to leave. Horrific mismanagement all around.

Praying we can ship Ayew off to Saudi

I always thought he'd go to Wrexham but I think they've surpassed him already. I can genuinely see him retiring, he's a complete laughing stock of the game isn't he.

When we bought Bilal Liverpool were apparently also interested in him but were put off by the £21m price tag, which they considered too much. I'm not convinced he's done enough to push it up to £30m and I don't think we'd sell for that anyway.

I think he'd struggle to make any meaningful impact even in the Saudi league lol

We can dream though

All logic says that selling Bilal this summer makes no sense. So I fully expect him to be first out the door before pre season even starts lol
