Has he actually said he's retiring?

Nope says he still has plenty to give and has more to achieve in the game

Someone in my office is saying Wrexham? Any truth?

Not a chance. The only way he'd go to a none top flight club, especially that could be in the same division is if he went to Sheffield Wednesday.

I reckon he'll go abroad.. I'd have a flutter on it being Como in series A.. on the up, rich owners and his mates the CEO. But wouldn't be surprised to see him land in the states somewhere.

Wrexham will go for him for the name and the revenue from shirt sales only. It will be the enterance into that Hollywood story BS and make a good episode of Welcome to Wrexham. It wouldn't be for footballing resons though. He may get a sub in a game, but they will not bounce into the Championship and be in the top 6 like Mac probably thinks they will. 18 in the Championship 2 seasons ago doesn't mean he will get 18 this season.

If he wants football, Wrexham isn't the place to go. Would love to see him go back Fleetwood, but I know it will be Wrexham or Birmingham as they will throw money at the wall for him.

Gutted it’s ended like this. The definition of a legend. What he’s done for this club is truly unbelievable. I wish him all the best in the future. He will always be my favourite Leicester player ever 🐐 🦊 💙

No player will ever fill the gap Vardy will leave behind. Even now, an out of form Vardy provides a warm, comforting glow that everything will be alright in the end. He has shown us more passion, spirit and fight than squads of players put together. You can't replace the irreplaceable but we should be grateful that we got to witness and experience an incredible footballing legend.

Shit time for him to leave but don't blame him.

Shit time for the club.

He's the only one associated with 2016 that was anything good remaining at the club.

End of an era for him, for us and for the club.

Said months ago I heard he was leaving at end of the season, and I think he ends up in America...

Probably make a good manager the amount he has seen and achieved. All the pep talks etc

not sure on that, and not sure he even makes a good captain.

Not sure his training styles would be too successful either.

Fabulous player and a great presence on the pitch.  It's been an absolute privilege to watch him for so long in a Leicester shirt but the time has come to say goodbye.  I have nothing but gratitude for him and wish him all the best, wherever he goes.

He gave the pep talk that pulled us out of the slump last season.
He can’t create miracles on the pitch in a team set up to lose every week

Inevitable, as some have said it does feel like the end of our successful era and we now enter a new one of uncertainty and obscurity while we try and figure out how to fix this mess.

But this isn't about that for now, just about him, the best we ever had and probably ever will have. If the club has anything left about it they will retire the number 9 shirt and get a statue built ASAP.

Going to take some time to come to terms with this and see him play for someone else even if it is in America.

Cheers for everything you absolute king.

Nah won't be either of them two. He wants to keep scoring goals he said himself.

He can go abroad and start and score in the states.. or go to Como and get a good 30mins a game with the odd start and experience something different which is where I think he will go.

The Wrexham link makes business sense but I just don't see him doing that, especially considering it would likely be to a team playing against us... but I do get the glamour story, especially if he did help them get promoted to the EPL as they're golden boy Mullin is surplus to requirements it would really get Vardys name out there in Hollywood for his story.. but my monies on Como, states as back up
