Question for my fellow seniors, weren’t Cremonese the club that beat Derby in the final of the Anglo-Italian Cup in the early 90’s?

Yes, although being called a senior is a dagger to the heart.

Interesting to hear he still speaks to Maresca regularly

Almost as if the bloke is an absolute gem that we stumbled across and the players took to greatly...won't ever stop banging the drum that he was the one that got away!

Just read the Mercury article from the other day, they even attempted to link leicester to Cremona, only thing is 2 of the 3 statements are not even true

“The Leicester comparisons do not end with the football teams, with a clock tower also at the heart of the city of Cremona.

The impressive Torrazzo of Cremona is the third tallest bell tower in the world and is the home of the world’s oldest astronomical clock.”

Still weird seeing him in other colours.

I swear he wasn't embracing the grey when he was here too. Given up on the Just For Men?

He's going to bag 15 this season and end up at Milan as their token elder-statesman impact forward next season. You heard it here first.

Getting tickets and hotel rooms already for friends coming over on October 29th for Genoa vs Cremonese.

So fvcked off he didn’t come to Genoa, apparently it was on the cards but Vieira didn’t want him. Idiot. Would have been a perfect fit, oldest club in Italy founded by Brits in 1893, play in red and blue, the most ‘English’ stadium in Italy (ie no running track) and 30k season ticket holders with a 33k capacity. And Genoa need a number 9. FFS. Anyway, good luck to him and Cremonese. Nice club.
