You can see Abdul at the fanzone now so that will bring the crowds flocking back!

He seems to be the only true Leicester player we have at the moment. A lot can’t be arsed, the majority are ****ing crap,a lot are looking for the door and the majority do not have a hint of blood blue in them. Get rid of the lot of um

Southampton are a very soft team hence the reason they have been losing games. What’s different with them is they do start positively and actually do score goals. Their intent is there and it’s positive. They just can’t maintain it as they are really bad defensively. On the other hand we are just diabolical all over the pitch! There’s just too many things wrong to even find any positives. The painful thing is Southampton really are trying but not good enough. Our lot for the most part aren’t even trying as hard as they can every game and that’s what’s sad and disappointing.

A draw will be kind to us but a loss is totally possible. If we win I’ll be shocked!

Yes I've literally stopped thinking about the possibility of winning games.

Win the game that will be a damning indictment on Southampton

As soon as RVFN announces his team - with Ndidi and Soumare his key midfielders (must be key - they are at the very heart of our record breaking run and never dropped) - we all know the likely outcome.

This match is indicative of our massive decline. A few years ago we won 9-0 at their place; last year 2 wins saw us score 4 and 5 goals; earlier this year we won at their place again - unbelievable that we will all be turning up (or not) trying to work out if it will be 0-2 or 0-3 or 0-more!

Thanks, Ruud.

I know there are a million things wrong with most of our players, but I genuinely don't buy into the 'not trying' line.

They are sent out, every single week since Newcastle away onwards, to their footballing deaths.

Wrong personnel selected (five or six our better players left out, every week, in favour of five or six of our worst) , rudimentary standardised formation that never changes and a manager who openly celebrates each defeat with the opposition players..

It must be as totally and utterly demoralising for the players as it is for us.

This is a game Leicester will be expected to win. With injuries there is very little pace in the side and we have seen how half heartedly City track back if caught on the break. Fairly confident Southampton will have the edge and that should surely force a decision on RVN.

Stole this from their forum. WARNING - The following image is super depressing

Wolves manager has done a great job in turning it around. Fair play. Granted they spent £40m+ (I think) in January and we spent £3m.

Shows what could have been done and how poop RvN really is.

Yep, I know what you mean.

But what I think all that transpires to is them not trying as hard because of those reasons. It might not be a "i'm not trying decision" but subconsciously they aren't as motivated because of all of the mitigating factors.

I do however think some have checked out.

I’m a bit conflicted about the Southampton game. Yes I’d like to see a goal for once maybe even a win. But I can’t help feeling that any glimmer of hope is just going to postpone any reset or managerial change.

I have a feeling that there may be 3 points staying at the KP not sure why I think we could beat them but a narrow 1-0 or 2-1 victory. Seeing a goal at KP will be something.

If they beat us we certainly won't see any more points for LCFC this season. They could even overtake us  (mathematically) although unlikely.

Play like we did against Brighton and it's 3 points.

Looking at the form table from last 18 games actually Soton are favourites

They're not with the bookies though, and I don't think you can count 18 games as "form". Both teams are terrible, obviously.

Given we have only played the other promoted clubs away so far I think this will probably be the first one. Maybe Wolves at home given they were pretty poor at the time?

It's pretty damning either way - we are that horrendous I don't think genuinely you could call us favourites by much (personally not at all)
